We really tried to give this business a chance, but I cannot recommend that anyone do business…read morehere. There's very little help with choosing materials, and when we finally did order, we drove 40 miles it pick it up, waited over forty minutes for someone to find it, got home, and realized several boxes of tiles were broken. They made right on that, but wouldn't ship it to us, so we had another trip to the store. Than, when we got to the point of install, we realized the tile was a different color than the sample. We were outside a thirty day window at that point, though we never received any paperwork stating any problems had to be addressed in thirty days (when we ordered, we did it by phone). Essentially, they said too bad, and even if there was a problem with the material itself, we would get charged 25% restocking fee plus freight. We asked that they call the tile rep because we felt it was a dye lot problem. They said they would but never did. Just really horrible service all around and they refuse to back up their products.

In July I bought a brand new Stihl chainsaw. After one use the saw would not start so I brought…read morethe saw back to the store. I was immediately accused by the skinny, long haired manager of misuse. After having to argue my case they gave me a new saw. I experienced the same carburetor problems and a second manager gave me a hard time. I asked for my money back and immediately went over to Steins Ace Hardware and bought a new chain saw. They know how to treat customers. Advice for the Hometown Ace Hardware on 40th: fire the two moron managers of this store or you will lose more customers.
