Nothing is seem to be done by the books and they are causing more damage then learning. Singling kids out and making them feel like they are not part of the entire group is just not okay in my opinion. Children should be able to be children and enjoy being around friends but when people like this group of ignarants are in charge, the kids cant even be themselves. This place needs to be looked into and shut down otherwise more kids will continue to suffer.

What went wrong was the apparent lack of training for the teachers and very much incompetent director. A few months after we have enrolled, 1/4 of the staff quit. So we began this reduced hours since then and no end in sight. There are a lot of little things that added up into bigger things, to the point that we felt we can no longer trust her to have our child's best interest in mind. If your child is a toddler, make sure he or she is perfectly behaved otherwise you will get endless incident reports and get a sit down talk to come up with a plan for 30 days, just to get an email a week later on a Saturday and threatened to be dismissed. Maybe the board of directors will do something about this as we had a meeting with one of the members. But in the meantime go at your own risk.

In some regards, this is not a bad YMCA, and I left some important stuff here (cellphone, Anker charger), and they saved it for me which was great, and saved me a lot of money and stress. I was able to go back and get it late at night, even when they were supposed to be closed. They didn't have any problem letting me in at closing time, and were pretty friendly about that. And pretty friendly in general. On the other hand some of the equipment is really old and several of us got kicked out when the section that we were using was needed for a class - and this kind of thing is a big No-No when you're paying members - so I'll give it a 4 but it could have easily gotten at 3 if they weren't so great about the stuff I left behind.
