Sadly disappointed with this business. The owner Arlene does not respond to e-mails or phone calls. Her staff actually prepare the tax returns and Arlene reviews them. So the money being paid is not for her actual work or expertise but the clerical help. Had I known this upfront, I would not have used this business. The worst part, three weeks after giving them our information we did not hear until April 15th at 9 pm. Arlene calls and tells us we owe more than 10,000. We originally chose this company as Arlene stated she had experience doing taxes for expats. It is appalling to wait till the due date and then spring this large amount on someone. The good news is we took an extension and had another tax preparer take a look and ended up getting a refund. Stay away from this business if you want your taxes done on a timely basis, done right and by someone professional. read more

It's really not my time to go back and forth with you over this but all I ask is that you at least have some integrity. You know as well as I do that I never tried to get anything from you or your staff for free. When you go into a "tax solutions" to file, you expect that once you walk out the door the business is done. That is the reason I wanted to cancel and get my processing fee back because you didn't process anything. All you did was waste my time. There is no reason you should have went forth and continued to look for information in order to file if you are on the phone asking me for it. Once a customer is led to believe after a week that you haven't started the process and need more documents and materials to do so and they don't want to continue to do business with you then that's where it should have ended. Instead you filed day's later and that is bad business. You can try and twist my words around all you want to benefit your business but you and I know what you are running and you and I know that I never came in there for a handout due to being in the military. This cowardly act of not accepting what you have done just motivated me more. All the customer's you have and you remember me from over a year ago should say something in itself. I went here after a friend recommended them to me and so far they worked everything out when it comes to the IRS. They saved me a ton of money and I will use them in the future again. If you had a problem with them, I am not sure why you had it, but are you sure it was them and not the IRS you had a problem with, as this is mostly the reason why someone would go to tax specialist after all. In my specific case, I was disappointed by the latter fact. If you are attracted to this business because of the moniker "Enrolled Agent" attached to the business, I would ask for her specifically. These ladies are just *sigh* for lack of a crazy/zany/comforting/ beautiful enough word to describe humans w all those attributes. My husband and I moved 3 times all last year and withdrew from a 401k. I usually do our taxes so I hadn't known what to expect when going to a professional. I didn't know they all charge drastically different and I didn't know that being qualified to do taxes is very different from being experienced enough to do taxes! The first place I went to had us owing 10k and wanted to charge us 600$ on top of that and couldn't give us any kind of estimate of price until they had put it all in the computer and made me waste days of time Bc they were unable to correctly read my tax forms smh. I'm not exaggerating!!!! These ladies were so welcoming offering us refreshments every time we arrived. They have great senses of humor and they know their stuff! There's lots of beautiful art by the head accountant herself all over the walls. They gave me a more than reasonable estimate upfront after hearing a brief synopsis of our situation and the forms involved and was able to correctly assess what we owed (under 1k). Even took a deeper look at what all was involved in our moving expenses and let us know we were missing out on things we rightfully should claim!
