I had my thick sweater over my nose as a mask and the manager, an older/middle aged woman with dark hair comes up to me and my baby and asks rudely where my mask was as if I were a child who needed scolding. I was wearing a mask it was just attached to my shirt. It fully covered my face/nose and covered much more than a paper mask would have covered anyway. I told her I had one on and she said, in a disgusted tone, that was unacceptable. Then she rushes over to the girl at the cash register to talk about me and didn't realize I was walking up behind her. she couldn't even wait until I left! I confronted her and told her this was a mask and you probably shouldn't be talking about your customers at least while they are still in the store, before she rudely yelled that I needed a daintier mask. The girl at the cash register even laughed at her a little bit bc she realized how stupid she sounded. I can't believe this manager/owner lady thinks it's ok to treat anyone, much less a paying customer like that. Disgusting. Will not be shopping here again.

Yes, it sounds uncanny, but hear me out. Our garage refrigerator went out, compromising hundreds of dollars worth of food for my family. Luckily it was still under warranty, but we'd need to stuff all of our food in large coolers for nearly a week until the manufacturer sent someone over. We went to Spring Liquor, right down the street from our home, because of their prices on bags of ice; my dad had gone there the night before. My goddaughter and I needed nine bags for the night. As we strategized how we'd muscle nine bags of ice out of there, trying to avoid two trips, the owner gave us empty boxes to carry them in, while giving us an extra set of hands for what ended up being three boxes--each of us carrying one. Maybe it's because of the many questionable experiences I've had with other businesses in the area, but this tiny deed had a lasting impact on me, and just for that, I will continue doing business there.

So, I made the mistake of trying to get a CO2 refill from these guys. They can only provide refill…read morecapacity based on how much is in their CO2 tank, in the back room. If their tank is nearly empty, you won't be able to get a reasonable CO2 refill. They say "only refill by pressure", not by the weight of CO2 going into your tank. I have a 5lb tank and wanted a 5lb refill. They could only provide a 1lb refill (equalizing the pressure between their nearly empty tank and my tank) which is dishonestly inequitable for the fee. They won't tell you their available capacity up front, even though I specifically asked for 5lbs. I had to came back with a scale to show them they only provided one lb. Initially they offered a 50% refund. I told them, I only received one lb. which isn't even half. So, they purged the tank (into the air) of the one lb they did provide and refunded the entire amount to me, returning my tank empty. The moral to the story is don't get a refill from these guys. Go to a supplier that will pump the CO2 into your tank - not through recharging by pressure equalization.
