    Gyro pita

Stopped by for lunch during a workday, was hoping for a local Greek restaurant to add to the list. Service was quick and very friendly, but unfortunately I did not enjoy my sandwich at all. The gyro was over seasoned and did not taste very fresh, the wrap was lacking sauce and that light Mediterranean feeling, and it costs nearly 15 bucks! Maybe I picked the wrong sandwich or thing to try, but unfortunately I have to rate based on what I ate.

So good!! Came with my dad and had the Greek nachos. Delicious and a great local spot =]

Decadence is pita bread turned into a dessert, their Sweet Pita.

Update: regret to say that the chef we liked is no longer there and they discontinued our favorite Poikilia 1 appetizer sampler platter which was so wonderful. Let me know where that chef went and I'll go follow him to eat at his new location.

We were attracted to this place due to the high ratings on Yelp. This is a cozy Greek Restaurant with half a dozen small tables. It was almost full when we came here during lunch on a Friday. You order and pay up front. There's a number of sample dishes present to give an idea of what the food looks like. Note that they're only open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 8pm, and closed on Sundays and Mondays. There's a simple one-page menu. You could get 'Pitas' for $15.50 and 'Platters' for $18.50. Looking at photos from past menus, it looks like prices have gone up quite a bit, even since April this year. The owners were very nice and friendly. We ordered pitas. Each one comes with a side - you could choose between French fries, sweet potato fries and spinach rice. The pita itself is delicious, with the right amount of crunch. The portions are adequate.

If you want Greek and you are out in this area here is the best spot. My Gyros was outstanding. Lots of meat and very flavorful.

This is about as good as it will get in this area. Stopped in here for a bite while my buddies grabbed a snow cone next door, and I'm glad I did! I wanted just a little pita to go and was a little frustrated, because all the different pitas have their own name, but no description. Luckily the gal at the counter, who was training the new person on register, quickly ascertained what I needed and got it started. I let her know I'd be next door and she even offered to bring my food over. $13 and about ten minutes later, she handed my food directly as I stood inside Bahama Bucks. The food is fresh, the portions adequate, and it all plays nicely together. I, personally, love raw onion, and thus loved its fresh crunch it lends to the pita, but know that it has a LINGERING PRESENCE. All told, the to-go experience here is quick, friendly, and delicious. You won't go wrong.

Amazing people and delicious food!! The sweet pita hit the spot and can't get enough of all the flavors

Really good Greek food in the cyfair area. The Gyro was great and the food came out quick and was piping hot!! Also the owner was so kind and greeted my kids and checked on them. Above and beyond.

Portion was great, there's lots of gyro stuffed into my pita. Definitely made me full. The owner or manager on site was great, very friendly. He said he would bring me more fries since I got the remaining of a batch and my portion wasn't enough, but I denied since the gyro looked so filling. And it was! Flavor was excellent, I'd come back again. Very quick service too.

    Under new management!

Finally found a good Greek place that actually has great flavors and care about tradition flavors. Worth checking out for sure.

My fries were over salted... the taziqui sauce was thick and solid... it was not that good. Not many drink options.

Gyros were fresh and hot. Servings are generous. Desserts look good, but we were too full to try. Maybe next time, we'll get desserts to go.

"Fine in a Pinch, Forgettable Overall!" 08-05-2025…read more I stopped in here during my lunch break during PD (Professional Development) week, my first week back at the high school where I work. The place was packed. Space was tight, with barely any elbow room between customers standing and seated, and the line to order was long. While waiting, I scanned the menu for a salad I'd enjoy, but honestly, their salad options were pretty limited and not very appealing. I ended up going with the Southwest Cobb Salad. It was... okay. Edible enough to satisfy my hunger, but definitely nothing memorable. I don't always use dressing, but I tried theirs and it was decent, tasty enough, though I can't even remember which one it was. That kind of sums up the salad: forgettable. The atmosphere during the lunch rush (11 AM-12 PM) was loud, busy, and a little overwhelming. Maybe it calms down later in the afternoon, but being in a packed shopping center right off Highway 290, traffic and parking are already hectic. Honestly, even walking to and from your car feels a little risky with how heavy the traffic flow is. Food Notes: Southwest Cobb Salad - 3/5: Mediocre at best. The black "crispy" tortilla strips weren't crunchy at all, actually stale. Big disappointment. I've had much better salads elsewhere. If you're in the area and absolutely can't find another deli or salad spot, this place is fine in a pinch. You won't hate it, but you probably won't love it either. Given the number of surrounding restaurants that offer more variety (and better flavor), I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this one. Final rating: 3/5 stars. Very middle of the road. Visit at your own risk.

For one, very little chicken. Secondly, there were green peas in there. No corn. Third, cream had been added. And the worst thing? Thick corn CHIPS like you dip in salsa, instead of the thin tortilla strips that give the soup its name. Overly spiced with powdered seasonings, not with the proper peppers infusing their flavor and heat through the cooking process. I will not be going again. In fact, we will make our own soup going forward.

There's no park here... but there is great service!…read more Stopped by for a quick dinner before heading to the park, and most of the staff here were genuinely sweet and attentive. When we got to checkout, we were still trying to figure out what my little one wanted. Our cashier had started chatting with a coworker for a moment (which was totally fine since we were still deciding). A leas abruptly interrupted and told her to help us right away. I get the intention, but it probably would've been better handled by pulling her aside instead of calling her out in front of everyone especially since she didn't realize we weren't ready yet. Even with that awkward moment, the cashier stayed professional and calm, which I really respected. Checkout itself was quick and efficient, and our food came out within minutes, fresh and exactly what you'd expect. But the real star of the show was the sweetest hostess. While we were sitting down, she came by with the biggest smile and asked if I wanted a water refill. Then she brought my little one a stuffed animal, which immediately had her grinning ear to ear. Every time she walked by after that, she gave us the warmest smile like grandma energy that just makes a place feel welcoming. To top it off, we went to grab our free rewards ice cream and my little one really wanted strawberry. They only had vanilla, but a manager went above and beyond and he scooped vanilla into a cup and added strawberry preserves on top to make it happen. Little moments like that go a long way. Definitely wanted to give this spot a shoutout for the kindness and extra effort.

This is not an isolated incident, as my orders have been incorrect on multiple occasions. While the manager has offered to compensate for a future meal, I believe it is unreasonable to expect customers to repeatedly contact the establishment to rectify errors. My expectation is to receive the correct order upon initial pickup, without the need for subsequent follow-up. I trust that these concerns will be addressed, as this issue has persisted for several months.

IS VITALITY BOWL BETTER THAN EVERBOWL????…read more The Ambiance is cool. Very informative of ingredients. It's quiet and was clean. The Service was good too. The cashier was patient and answered our questions even the ones that were repeated for reassurance. The BOWLS.... My girlfriend got a Medium Vitality Bowl (Rating: 4/10) Base- Açaí Toppings- Granola & Honey (Complimentary), Double Banana, Pineapples, Mango and Peanut Butter She said her fruit wasn't sweet and the pineapples were frozen. The richness of the açaí was lacking. We're used to a certain caliber and standard. AND I got a Medium Vitality Bowl (Rating: 7/10) Bases- Guava and Acerola Blend, Blue Bliss Blend, and Cacao Toppings- Granola and Honey (Complimentary), Banana, Blueberry, Goji Berries, and Almond Butter The Almond Butter was stuck on the inside of the top and wasn't really in my bowl. The Guava and Acerola Blend had frozen pieces in my bowl (might not be a popular option). I could slightly taste the Guava, what I did taste I liked, but I would've like to taste more of it. Cacao flavor wasn't rich either. They also don't have as many options as EverBowl, which is our GoTo açaí bowl spot. However, for some reason they're scarce in the city of Houston. My rating...we definitely prefer EverBowl over Vitality Bowl. We wouldn't return. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERBOWL for sure. Y'all won't be disappointed by the comparison. #HappyConciousHealing Y'all :)
