He took the time to explain everything that was happening with my tire and ran back over and tried to fix my tire as well. It was determined that I needed a new tire and Joel put my spare on for me. He was extremely kind and helped me to settle down and pointed me in the correct direction on what to do next. He would not accept any payment and he was simply doing this out of the kindness of his heart. I'm still in my teens and I was worried because I had never had this sort of thing happen in a busy area before. He went above and beyond when he didn't have to and it was refreshing to see his kindness. I recommend this establishment and especially Joel's expertise to anyone. He is a stand up guy.

I went there to have an unusual noise checked out. I felt that paying him, $90, for his time and effort was a good decision. As it turns out.....NOT a good decision at all! He diagnosed the noise as the flywheel between the engine and transmission needing to be replaced. In addition, he also listed his needed repairs that were unrelated to my concern. They were axles, steering linkage and suspension parts, and an oil change. He gave an estimate of $3,086 for the cited repairs and I just had the oil changed 1 month ago. I was not told that he would be publicizing my vehicle's VIN and the cited repairs online for anyone (including car dealers) with access to Car-fax to see. When you go to trade in your car or truck after Dale Stroebel gives you an estimate, even if he does not do any work on your car, this information will be published! He told me this after the fact, and after I had visited a car dealership. There was no up front disclosure regarding his use of the information that he gleaned by inspecting my car.

They said that I need new rotors…read more They placed them into my vehicle and the vibrations felt in the steering wheel were still present. Then, they refused to fix the problem claiming that all of their employees were quiting their jobs. Therefore, took my vehicle to another Monro shop in Saginaw Township Michigan, They claimed that I needed Bushings, not new rotors. They replaced the bushings and the problem continued. So, $1500 spent and Monro refuses to fix, replace or warrant the service and resplcement products.
