He was also super helpful when I went in a few months after my first piercing because the earring was stuck, and switched it out for a hoop for me. There's a ton of options for jewelry and he'll listen to where you want your piercings to be (and if you wanna move it too). Both times i've been here my earrings have been at the perfect angle, and he definitely works with your ear shape and anatomy and tells you whether or not certain places will work. They charge around $60 per piercing, sometimes more. This does not include the price of the jewelry. Their jewelry is excessively marked up. They won't pierce you with jewelry you buy separately and bring to them. Understandable to a point, but it's very costly going that route. I have had both good and bad experiences here. Sometimes the piercers are very polite and professional, other times they are not very friendly and don't do a good job on the piercing. I had my forward helix done here a few years ago. The piercer marked my ear, let me look in the mirror, and asked me if that's where I wanted the earring. I said no, that's too low, too close to my rook, I'd like it higher up. She said no problem, but didn't mark my ear a second time. She said she would just move the piercing up a little bit. Great. So she pierces my ear, puts the jewelry in, and lets me go look at it. She hadn't moved the piercing up at all, she had pierced me exactly where I said I didn't want it. Way too low on the forward helix. That cost me $85 in total and she said she could not pierce again without charging another $60 for a second pierce. From now on I will not get pierced at this location if the piercer I trust and like isn't working that day. It's very very expensive and not worth it if you don't get the professional experience and the exact piercing you were after.

She did not complete the job to my satisfaction, and cancelled my third visit (which this procedure normally requires one visit). After getting dumped by her, I found another artist who was shocked and what she discovered when she look at my eyes. Lines were where they were not supposed to be (above the lash line onto my inner eyelid) and uneven lines, and only staining on the bottom two lids. I asked for a refund. Owner refused. I plan legal action as this is an unqualified individual setting up to hurt a lot of people. I would not encourage permanent makeup done by this employee. I cannot speak for tattoos. She was extremely sanitary and her station thoroughly cleaned. She's as sweet as can be, but I do believe with all my heart I was mislead into believing she was more qualified that she obviously appears to be. If you're thinking about liner, don't go there. Her price is way out of line.

Both of my tattoos were done by Archie at Immortal Canvas - one almost 3 years ago and another 8…read moremonths ago. Archie is an amazingly talented artist with laser precision. If I ever decide to get a third, he'll be my first and only call. For my first, after taking FOREVER to decide and switching my design about 300 times, I ended up getting something completely different than what I gave Archie in my design consultation. Granted, I had a few months to think about it - it takes about 3 months to get into Archie's jam-packed schedule. Yes, he's that good! Archie was very patient and non-judging, emphasizing that tattoos are highly personal and my design should be exactly what I want. I ended up drawing my own and have never regretted it for a second. I wanted it on my foot, which Archie advised was the most painful place, but didn't try to talk me out of it. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I had no idea what colors I wanted when I came for my appointment. We had a great discussion about color theory and went with analogous colors. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! My second tattoo is especially meaningful. My mom, who is battling the most severe form of MS, wanted a tattoo for her 60th birthday to symbolize her fight. I decided to get one with her and designed the image. Of course, I would go to none other than Archie. He refined the design and supplemented it with beautiful script he created. Hers says, "Strength for today, hope for tomorrow" and mine says, "I'll stand by you". The image is a variation of an awareness ribbon, with the brightest bright orange to really pop - suggested by Archie. Both tattoos have held up incredibly well. I've heard foot tattoos need retouched often, but after 3 years it still looks crisp and beautiful. Aftercare instructions were very clear, and when I had a concern about how my second was healing Archie was happy to answer my questions. He's the only one I trust to stab me thousands of times with a needle!
