I went to Kylie for a brazilian wax and was very disappointed. She left wax on my skin and I had to go home and remove it myself... After talking to others about my experience I quickly came to realized she did not perform my wax correctly. I believe due to her leaving the wax for me to have to remove it myself, caused an infection and I had to take medical actions to resolve it. She also did not get all of the hair removed and I felt it was quite over priced to other places in the area for the quality of service I received. read more

Started getting my hair done and face waxing here 5 years ago! Love this salon and professionals that work here every since! This is not your regular salon where the stylist compete for your business. They are all willing to share you as a client if you are willing to see another lady for an appointment. I've had a message, manicure and pedicure along with free facials! Cannot say enough good things and have no complaints. Have had my young niece with me and to occupy her time she has had her hands messaged and painted for free by the intern staff. read more

Destiny does a great job - with color and spending time with you. Rates are very reasonable. While they do not do the Aveda card/program, they have their own on site program where after $300 of product purchase, you receive $25 of product. They always text and call several days ahead of your appointment for a reminder which I really appreciate. read more

I haven't been there for over year, but this review is based on 20 years of trying so hard to love this salon and then wishing I hadn't bothered to go back. I use Aveda exclusively and love their stuff, so I've returned to this salon more times than I can count because I would just LOVE to have a good local Aveda option. And I always leave again for any number of reasons and wonder what I was thinking. The first "minus" is that they do not participate in Pure Privilege, which is absurd for an exclusively Aveda salon. They have their own knock-off program with punch cards. So I just don't buy anything there and place my product orders online, which is annoying. More than once I've sworn them off because the receptionist was rude and condescending. Other times, because the stylists just sit and gossip loudly with each other as if you aren't even there while they work on your hair. Once I left because I asked for subtle highlights, the stylist spent the whole appointment talking about how she felt "off" because she was tired... and I left with half-inch wide stripes in my hair. There are frequently unruly kids running all over the place that they all just ignore - which does not make for a relaxing salon/spa environment. Last time I was there for nails, they allowed a client to bring her dog (it was NOT a service dog, just a beloved pet) in to the salon and set it loose in there for the duration of her appointment. It ran all over, got fur all over my purse which was sitting on the floor beside me, and had at least one accident on the floor before the receptionist took it outside for a walk. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. That was the last straw. The idea that any salon could be that completely unsanitary in addition to being so hit-and-miss with their service was just too much. The second star is only there because I've also had a handful of good experiences there periodically over the years too. It's a shame those experiences were offset by so many negatives. read more

I saw a post for Spa night and was immediately interested in the mini offerings at such a reasonable rate. I called my mom and we decided to go. It was a nice couple of pampering hours that included Mini hand and foot massage, polish change, facial, and massage. I felt educated, pampered, and relaxed. I will be back! read more

Great stylist but manager rude, loud, obnoxious,cheap, and unprofessional. Spent thousands of dollars here, tired of being treated like dirt by this person who calls herself and owner/manager. Stayed for a long time because of the stylist. Don't expect peace and quiet here. Kids running everywhere and zero customer service by this manager with zero respect for paying customers. Refused to exchange or replace a 130 appliance I bought that she promotes, and which simply stopped turning on after less than one month of use. Lost a great, regular customer. Last straw. read more

I just got a brazilian from here and I am very upset about it. She left long hairs and short hairs. She is a very inexperienced esthetician, and I feel like I should have been told that before my appointment. My fault for scheduling somewhere new. I normally get my brazilians with an aveda salon in dayton call Affinity, so I thought this aveda salon would be similar. AWFUL. Now I will have to maintain shaving until my next waxing.
