We liked our beers. Amigo Dan drives by Eddie's regularly and was very excited to try it. The cheesesteak had a bad taste. I think they had just made something that didn't agree with my cheesesteak's meat. It could have been the onions. In the name of science, I forced myself to take several bites to see if I got an upset stomach. I did not. I think it was the last thing they cooked.

Recently, I bought sub platters for a family event. I ordered just regular turkey, the julzy, and the calabrese. The calabreses went SO fast. They make a good italian sub. I received so many compliments on the sandwiches. People really liked them. Definitely check this place out. They are new, and unfortunately, have a restaurant that opened up in their complex recently that also serves subs, sandwiches. What they have to offer is a different matter though. I'll travel the extra distance, it's worth it. As for customer service, the employees have always been extremely nice. If you have never been to Gaetano's RUN don't walk and skip the place up front! This is not the first time they get things wrong. A few months ago they left something out of the order and I had to go back and get what they missed. The burgers don't have the seasoning they used to have or remember the tasted like 5 years ago. I remember that when you bit in you knew you had a great burger in your hands. I don't perceive that taste as much anymore. Maybe they are so busy that it's hard to keep that quality taste, but hopefully they can tweak things in a way that it brings back the Outlaw's of a few years ago. I also dislike there is no dine-in opportunity. I will still come around once in a while in hopes we go back the the great flavors and service.

I lived in Bridgeton for a few months many years ago and a local friend brought me here to eat. I finally got to return with my wife and I was so relieved to find the same little shop in the back just where I remembered it being. My memories were not fabricated after all. You go into what seems like a regular store and find a small taco shop in the back. You expect it to be empty, but many locals are here having a lunch. There is no menu and you are only greeted by a daily specials board. As you wonder about how long it's been since the specials board was updated, a boy who looks like he should be in middle school takes your order. Five or ten minutes pass and your food is ready. You paid less than you should for how much food they give you. You eat the food. The food is way better than it deserves to be and you wonder if it's just because you're in a dinky taco shop in the back of an unsuspecting market in a small town in southern New Jersey... the most random place to find a decent taco shop. But as you continue eating you realize that no, the food really is delicious. You eat tacos every week at a minimum and you know your tacos. And these tacos do not disappoint. In fact, they are great quality, large servings, and have a nice char to the meat that sets them apart from most tacos you've eaten in recent memory. Even the salsas are yummy and fit the different meats perfectly. lengua, milaneza, bistek, carnitas... Dangit I could keep writing but I've probably already lost you. If you're ever in the area... like if you're in Atlantic City and will be driving anywhere that would put you within 20 miles of this place, you absolutely owe yourself the favor of eating here. There are so many (oral) menu items I wish I could have tried, and I expect they'd all impress me just as much as those dang tacos did. My goodness what a good meal we had.
