I still didn't have my blood drawn there so I can't speak for that particular service.

We were given a 4:00 PM appointment by the doctor herself, yet were made to wait over an hour with no explanation or apology. We were never seen by the doctor, She refused to review recent bloodwork from Hoag ER and instead sent us for new labs unnecessarily, wasting our time and money. This isn't the first issue. A few months ago, this same office ran a thyroid test on my wife and sent us to Hoag ER. Hoag re-ran the test and told us the results from SCKE were completely inaccurate. Two major errors affecting the same patient is unacceptable. Patients deserve respect, accurate testing, and doctors who value their time. We experienced none of that here. Dr. Colleen Coleman was recommended by three friends independent from one another (including two…read moredoctors whom we know) to tackle my wife's bilateral neck dissection for metastisiced thyroid cancer. We were absolutely terrified at first, but knew we were in good hands. Dr. Coleman spends the necessary time with her patients and often has to deliver difficult news, so there can be a wait. Must surgeons would just rush you through. Getting through this surgery was of course emotionally and physically demanding, so this was important. The surgery went smoothly. Dr. Coleman set us up with an oncologist and endocrinologist whom are also each at the top of their game. Nine months post-operation, my wife's cancer is under control due to Dr. Coleman's follow-ups. High-dose radiation took care of the thyroid cancer in her lungs, which is showing no signs of recurring, and the slim surgical scar across her neck is fading fast. Dr Coleman's skill is evident in how faint the scar is and continues to fade over time. There are no signs of any cancer remaining in her neck. We feel like we received the best care possible and are forever grateful for Dr. Colleen Coleman for saving my wife's life.

Although I was ready to move right into IVF due to my age and wanting more than one child, he spent the time discussing all the options before I made a final decision with my husband. There was no pressure, just guidance. I noticed right away he was very knowledgeable, welcoming, and patient. The office was extremely efficient. I was able to do genetic testing, infectious disease testing, and full labwork done within days for me and my husband. The facility was able to accommodate all of my needs and did not need to go to other labs for other services, including egg retrievals, and my embryo transfer. I did not realize how important that was until I started the process. The office worked closely with my insurance and pharmacy for everything to be seamless. I also was able to schedule appointments early in the morning so my own work schedule was not disrupted. So many appointments and he was there for all of them. Within 2 months I was already preparing for my first egg retrieval. I had a total of 2 egg retrievals, both resulting in multiple healthy embryos. The second retrieval he adjusted my protocol based on the previous one which resulted in an even more successful outcome. He was available at all times (in person or on the portal if needed). He performed all of my ultrasounds personally and even if I was just getting bloodwork and he was walking down the hall he would say hello. It is helpful to say I am currently pregnant with my first child and although this was the goal and I am excited (even got high fives from the staff), the review is about the care I received as outcomes will vary for everyone. It felt like I was starting from scratch every time, only to be cut off again. This kind of disorganized and dismissive treatment from the front office is deeply frustrating and frankly unacceptable. If this is the level of professionalism before even stepping into the clinic, it raises serious concerns about how patients are treated once they're actually under care. I've given up trying to get an appointment. A medical practice should be accessible and respectful from the first point of contact. Sadly, this experience was anything but.
