I can't honestly review Dr. Shoureshi, because after waiting over a month for my appointment, I was seen for five minutes by an assistant. The assistant said my urine test was okay. I am still experiencing pain and other symptoms after having four infections in six months. I still haven't seen the doctor. This is NOT medical CARE. read more

I didn't have to wait long at all. Dr. Shoureshi was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I haven't had much luck with other doctors, within Hoag. I will go back to St. Jude once I complete a procedure. I don't like how Hoag contracts out all their specialists. I have to deal with so many different portals which is way too confusing. But, I love this doctor. You're in good hands. read more

She is in demand so surgery had to be scheduled several months out, but I found the same situation with other providers. DR. Shoureshi is a very professional dr IF you are fortunate enough to get thru to the FRONT OFFICE staff to make an appointment which is months out. Her staff only communicates by text. I sent an urgent text because I had a UTI and a follow up text with no response from the front office for 3 days. By that time my OBGYN HAD ordered LABS and prescribed the proper medication for the RAGGING bladder infection I had. My advise is... do not use this practice if you want to have a responsive front office that can relay urgent medical problems to the doctor in a timely way.Dorothy M. read more

Dr S is a urologist. First off the initial forms were difficult to fill out as if you accidentally swipe left or leave it you have to start over. They say save time do it online. It didn't save me time. I don't do well with many meds but I tried two anyway to no avail . She had already diagnosed me but I had to go through a very invasive test which im sure cost my insurance a lot and the same diagnosis was given. I was told there were two different ways to treat it. I remember I had to ask well what am I being treated for? Upon leaving I started asking what would it cost for what the dr called the least invasive. . It would take 12 weeks of visits in a row and then once a month after. That. That's a hassle so I wanted to know about the other approach. For that one you had a trial run which took a week and then if worked you should go to having the temporary battery inserted in your back . So again I started inquiring as to the cost. . I called and quickly learned you can never through to this office on the phone. They say to text them. So I did. They would say someone would get back to me. This happened for four weeks in a row. That's a long. Time to wait for an answer. Finally I got the codes and got the answer myself. When I got the codes I found out I had a credit coming back. They had held onto it since June . I just got the remainder back. That's 7 months really.! Unbelievable. So, the trial run worked.i was so excited! Something I have struggled with for so long . Then they took the trial wires out. There is no reason to take the leads out but the Dr is so overbooked sometimes 4-6 months for a surgery the office manager told me! That's crazy! Don't keep taking new patients if you can't treat the existing ones. To me that's greed.. I said that to the office manager and because they took so long with everything it would put me into the new year starting all over with my deductible. I realized this and I wanted to pay what I would have I had it done last year.. I tried to make an appointment. I wanted explain all of this to the Dr. I waited a half just to make an appointment. I never did get to tell the Dr. that is shady! Most of the problem I learned fell on the scheduling nurse and I had said disparaging things about her according to the office manager . Instead of granting my request to pay what I would have last year she dismissed it as me having a problem and they no longer have me as a patient. Really?! After all they put me through.!! Don't use OC urology Associates. Unbelievable.! This is greed! It is all about more patients instead of quality. No customer service! They held onto money on top of it.i would give them negative stars if i could . I also will be reporting this to my insurance!! Stay away! read more
