I've seen her work at an engagement and a bridal party now and both times most of the people were very satisfied. She's great with kids too and adds glitter for them during evening parties as well. I posted pictures of the front and back of my hands as they looked 48 hours after the henna application. For the full hands on both the left and right palm she charges $25 and for the full hands + veils on the back of the hands = $40. It came out pricey, but the henna darkened really well the next day and I only had it on about 4 hours. My only reason for docking a star is that the henna I use is much thinner than what she uses. I think the thinner henna honestly looks a lot better once the color has set in. My hands looked gorgeous when the henna was still drying on them, but now that it's just the color, I'm not as happy with the design/style. It's all relative though depending on your taste, so you can see the pictures and judge for yourself :) She's definitely worth hiring if you're looking to throw henna party for a good price and get reliable and quick service to please all your guests!

They did both hands and feet for me with stunning designs, clearly incorporated what I said I was looking for, and worked SO quickly. They finished (admittedly smaller than some bridal henna I've seen, only to just past my wrists) in maybe 2.5 hours, and took another hour/hour and a half to complete 8 or so smaller designs. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, much less than other artists and the quality was unbeatable. I left the paste on for about 4 or 5 hours, but the paste was getting itchy and I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep with it on, so I took it off after that time, and still got a beautiful dark stain that lasted for about a week. If it makes sense for you, I definitely recommend scheduling your henna in the morning so you can leave the paste on for more of the day to get an even darker stain, but mine was gorgeous even after just a few hours.

She also provided great tips for darkening the henna like applying sugar syrup onto the henna, drying the henna over stove top with cloves, and using gauze (not Mefix) for leaving the henna on overnight. The next day, she provided over 15 party guests with mehendi (the line was long because everyone was eager!) and was willing to stay extra time to make sure everyone received designs. I got Roopa's contact from a friend who had used her services before, and I am so glad I went with her. Roopa took time to listen carefully to understand who I am as a person, what I wanted, and how to make the event "me". She helped me engage the DJ (amazing person!), photographer (very sweet) and decorator (super talented). She coordinated every single detail with the venue, designed the floor plan, made sure everything was ready on time. The most challenging part of this event was the live plant decor, and fitting that within my budget. Roopa and her decor person put in hours of work to get the plants I wanted, down to the last leaf on the photo booth - they refused to compromise on anything! My guests asked me how I was so calm throughout the event - and I have to give a lot of credit to Roopa and her team. There were two artists from Henna Bash at my event and they showed up before the event started. We provided a table & chairs for the guests and artists. Many people weren't aware of their service, thus I had to tape the henna designs onto the table. There were two different colors of henna offered. Since our skin is lighter in our palms, it's best to do the henna tattoo there. When you get henna done, you'll want to avoid washing the area until it fully dries. My henna lasted about four days. I got many compliments from people and told them to check out Henna Bash. I'll keep Henna Bash in mind for my future events.
