I'm just so impressed by the quality of the job they did. They really listened to me when I asked to not use any products with a strong smell due to sensitivities I have and the result is incredible. I was convinced that they misunderstood me and gave me the $200+ detail job and didn't even care because it looks immaculate. But no, ~$60 for 3.5 hours of 2 guys cleaning my car until it really does shine. To all the moms out there with Goldfish-snack-encrusted seats and mysterious goo all over the car--call Shine and Style. Call them now. Forgo the manicure, skip the massage...even sacrifice date night if you need to--it is so worth it to have your car this clean. Even if it is just until the kids and hubby get back in... I used another mobile detailing service that charged around $40 and I figured I was getting what I paid for. They basically spent an hour vacuuming and cleaning to where it was just decent. I am truly impressed with the service provided and work done on my car. Nick had scheduled to come out on the weekend but due to the below freezing weather it was not possible, he promptly rescheduled for a convenient time for me in just under a week. As I am sure he was behind in his schedule it did not seem to affect the service provided, they took the required time on my car and left me very satisfied with the job. The vehicle he detailed had sat in the sun / rain for years with little cleaning and had caked on dirt in all nooks and crannies for which I couldn't even remove by scraping it with my nails, but he managed to get it all clean. I scheduled Shine & Style since my car hadn't been washed in a while and needed some TLC. Given the rave reviews on this site, I figured it made sense to "go with the best" in selecting them to wash and wax my car. Unfortunately, the base (exterior only) wash and wax is $85 and pricing increases significantly from that point. By the time I included interior (just a light, not detail) cleaning, I was out for over $200. Ouch. While they did a nice enough job, I feel I was upsold and given no sort of bundle offer discount to factor for all pieces they were doing to my car. There were two guys and they spent 4 hours on my car. From some of these reviews, most folks got that kind of time and cleaning for well less than $100. It seems Shine & Style is letting the reviews go to their head. They still do good work, but at the expense of taking care of the customer. read more

I needed a detailed to get off the "shotgun tar" from my white SUV. These are little black specs that don't come off in a regular wash. I knew I had to do something because it could destroy my paint. I called them on a Friday and they were able to accommodate me the following morning. They called to follow up and were on time. To be honest, we got a new car and my 8-year-old SUV seemed pretty dirty when comparing the two. I have two big dogs and a toddler, so it definitely needed some help! We purchased the full detail, which included everything from clay bar to shampooing the carpets, but without doing the engine. They were a little late showing up for the appointment, but I live pretty far out, so it is a decent drive to our house. Once they arrived, they got started immediately on my husband's 2004 BMW Z4. It really needed some attention on the interior, and they did a great job. I selected Shine and Style because the description of their services said: "all interior vinyl, plastic, vents, console area, crack and crevices will be detailed and conditioned." It seemed as those most of the other websites I reviewed focused only on the exterior, with just a quick vacuum and wipe down on the inside of the car. I was not disappointed! The interior of our car now looks like it just rolled off of the assembly line! If you have a care that needs some interior attention, I highly recommend them! These guys did an awesome job on my (realllly needed a cleaning but not quite trashed) 2009 Corolla. The up charge for it was a little pricey- 150 up from the original $150 it is. It was fine however I just didn't consider it that bad. They were only here 30 minutes over their standard time. I was looking to get my car detailed as I now live in a condo and no longer have access to a space where I can do it myself. I am a very tough critic since I used to do auto detailing part time, so I was skeptical about hiring somebody to do this type of work. However, the reviews on here seemed to be very consistent, and I was also impressed with the pictures. Nick came over this weekend and spent about 2.5 hours just on the exterior of the car alone. The car looked just like it did the day I took delivery of it 5 years ago. It's been awhile since my white car had quite the "pop" that it did when he was done with it on Saturday. Every crevice and crease was wiped down and cleaned, and they even cleaned the entire rim all the way to the other side of the tire (not easy!). They showed up on time at the scheduled appointment slot and were professional. Gave them my number and was told they would call me if they could book me in the next two weeks or so. No call was ever received! I completely understand that my request was last minute and they this is their busy season, however, when a business promises to follow up and then does not, it speaks volumes!
