I've never been to this nail salon, this was my first time, and when I asked about the pricing since it was an up-charge from what I originally booked, I was met with laughter by her and a few of the other surrounding nail techs. They spoke in another language but I did hear her say under her breath "asked about the price", after she continued laughing. I knew at that moment that I wouldn't make another appointment and felt very uncomfortable in her chair. I was very disappointed because my nails, other than a few hiccup areas, did not turn out terrible. I did feel as though my appointment with her was rushed; and other than informing me of the price of the builder gel service and asking what color I wanted, she didn't seem as though she wanted my business, and rushed off right after she was done. So I went for the 90 minute one, which cost me $119. See the attached flyer for all they said it consists of. So the massage was spot on, perfect pressure, and I really do feel like she cleansed the scalp super well. Best part was probably the steam at the end. I loved that part! But I do have a few cons. The first con is that the entire head spa experience was done with the lights on. Which, is fine - but most all facials I've done have been in dim light for a more relaxing experience. So that, I didn't like too much. Second and probably my biggest concerning con, they make you change into a tube top. Which is normal in a facial, except the area where they perform the head spa has a security camera. That's iffy. Don't know if it's turned on or not, but a little weird (and unsafe) to have a camera where girls are going to be changing, so just a word of caution there. And as another note, it's a very hot and cold experience. I like things all the way warm. Water was warm and so was most of the experience but they used something with tea tree for the shampoo, which is fine, but it has a "minty" feeling so you get cold quick. They also put this shampoo on your decolletage, so I got a little cold very soon after. The jade mask and roller were cold too. Also they promised hot stones and I don't believe I had any on me. And my third con, it ended 10 mins earlier than expected too. Was it worth the $$$? With these cons, I say go for the pedicure instead. I'm not sure if spending $120 is worth all these cons.

They close at 5 PM, but I called ahead to see if I could squeeze in a pedicure at 4:30. They were super friendly and welcoming over the phone and in-person. They got me in without any issue, which I much appreciate. It means a lot. Sarah did a great job on my toes. She's also amazing with leg massages, which is my favorite part of getting a pedi. I didn't have Amy, but I watched her working on someone next to me and her attention to detail really stood out. I'd recommend either of them. One small note: I would've liked my toenails shaped a bit more square and straight, but I understand that can be tricky depending on the natural shape of your nails. Honestly, it seems almost impossible unless you're getting acrylics on your toes. I also noticed for the callus removal, they only used the callus sponge and not the scraper. I personally prefer both as the scraper gets most of the dead skin off (which is actually my second favorite part of a pedi!), and the sponge is great for smoothing out what the scraper missed. I would've really loved that extra step in the service. Overall though, still a great experience, and I'll definitely be back to try the jelly pedicure next time!
