Okay, I've been here before for a pedicure and I liked it well enough. This time round, I came back for the head spa, which I've been dying to try since I saw their little banner outside. So I went for the 90 minute one, which cost me $119. See the attached flyer for all they said it consists of. So the massage was spot on, perfect pressure, and I really do feel like she cleansed the scalp super well. Best part was probably the steam at the end. I loved that part! But I do have a few cons. The first con is that the entire head spa experience was done with the lights on. Which, is fine - but most all facials I've done have been in dim light for a more relaxing experience. So that, I didn't like too much. Second and probably my biggest concerning con, they make you change into a tube top. Which is normal in a facial, except the area where they perform the head spa has a security camera. That's iffy. Don't know if it's turned on or not, but a little weird (and unsafe) to have a camera where girls are going to be changing, so just a word of caution there. And as another note, it's a very hot and cold experience. I like things all the way warm. Water was warm and so was most of the experience but they used something with tea tree for the shampoo, which is fine, but it has a "minty" feeling so you get cold quick. They also put this shampoo on your decolletage, so I got a little cold very soon after. The jade mask and roller were cold too. Also they promised hot stones and I don't believe I had any on me. And my third con, it ended 10 mins earlier than expected too. Was it worth the $$$? With these cons, I say go for the pedicure instead. I'm not sure if spending $120 is worth all these cons. read more

The absolute worst experience! I went in on Tuesday with my sister to get nails for my WEDDING!!! 24 hours later 2 of them are chipped and my sisters are peeling from the cuticles! I called them and they said they do not give refunds and she said "I don't know what you did to your nails"! Sorry but idk what your nail tech did to my nails for them to chip in 24 hours! So I had to pay AGAIN to get them done again because my wedding is not in Edmond. The nail tech was able to PEEL them off. That does not sound like my problem that sounds like you didn't put them on correctly. They also ask you to leave a google review before you leave.... No wonder they ask that they don't want you to write one after you get home and they chip 24 hours later.. worst customer service ever!! Oh yeah and I'm out $55. The new salon charged me $55 for acrylic French tip. The exact same price for shitty gel. read more

The lady that did my nails was very rushed. I told her multiple times I was not in a hurry and needed my nails to be perfect since my these will be my engagement nails. She ended up cutting two of my cuticles. My nails are also a lot thicker than I would like and uneven towards the base of my nail. She also didn't size my nails before putting the tips on so there's a small gap. Update: I went back to get the one with the gap fixed. It was more narrow than the others and crooked. They were very nice and fixed it. Ask for the guy if you go here. read more

Karla is my nail tech and she has been doing my acrylic nails and pedicures for a couple of years. Karla pays great attention to detail and knows I am very particular. She is easy to talk to, but not too chatty and is an absolutely wonderful person. The salon is beautiful, clean, and the pedicure chairs are very comfortable. The staff there is very kind and even serves drinks! I highly recommend Karla so ask for her by name. read more

I have been getting my nails done here consistently the past three times I had my nails done. Always, always great service, attention to detail and so courteous. The complimentary drinks and candy are a major bonus. The neck massage and hand/arm massage are just fabulous! I wish they offered neck massages because I would be in solely for those! I had an appointment and showed up a little early- unsure why, but the salon is empty. I'm still sitting here, letting my pedicure dry, but I have nothing but good things to say about the service, professionalism, and courteousness I've experienced. I was helped immediately, the deluxe pedicure was wonderful, and they treated me to a glass of wine while I was pampered. If I could give them less stars, I would. I walked in with my girlfriend and we were greeted. They walked away immediately. About 2 minutes later "the help" came and asked us what we wanted and seated us and turned the water on in the pedicure bowl. The water was initially hot, but got cold quickly. Why? You may ask. Because nobody looked our way for 15 minutes! I started to put my socks and shoes back on and "the help" walked over briskly trying to get us to stay. Nah, man. Your time is up. Everyone else in there had someone that was tending to them...including someone that walked in AFTER us. Thanks Shellac Nails, but because of your poor customer service, someone else will be gaining the money you lost. Update: Mike T. It wasn't busy. I understand it was a Sunday...but you had opened maybe 15-20 minutes prior. There were MAX, 10 customers there. That's not busy. I've had my nails done and a pedicure here a few times, mostly with my daughter. She likes it because it's close to where she lives. It's a decent place, variety of colors to choose from. I don't feel like the colors last very long though. Every time I get them done here, they are peeling by the second week. Everyone has a different experience, that's mine. It's difficult when you can't communicate with your nail tech. They don't know that you broke your toe last week, so please be gentle. Ugh. read more

I have been coming here just about every 2 weeks for my nails for the last three years. I have never had any complaints. The last several trips have been less than desired. I think they must have gotten a lot of new people because I didn't recognize any of the techs that did my nails the last few times I was there. They have been rushing, not paying attention, and just all around doing a crappy job. My gel nail polish has been peeling off after 3-4 days, it's uneven/thick in places, and just looks like a child painted them. Anytime I point out some thing that I am unhappy with (like missing a big portion of my nail) I met with attitude. When I asked the last girl to use a regular file and not the electric one to remove my gel, she said that it wouldn't work. I know it's easier to use the electric one, but it's really hard on my nails. She refused. She also was going so fast and not paying attention that she cut me 2 times and then was mad that I couldn't soak my bleeding cuticle in acetone. Like I said, I've never been unhappy with them, that's why I've been going back for the last 3 years, but after the last few visits I think I'm going to start looking for a new place. read more

I have been a loyal customer here for years. I come in just about every two weeks to get my nails done and then I usually do my pedicure in between. However my last two experiences leave me questioning if I will ever be back. Let's start with my pedicure last week. I walked in and asked for a pedicure and full set. I was seated immediately in a pedicure chair which gave me plenty of time to decide on a color. I waited for 40 minutes before anyone came to me. Two COUPLES who came in AFTER me but at least 5 minutes or more were helped before me and mostly finished with their pedicures before anyone even came over to my chair. My water was obviously cold after waiting for so long that even the technician that was doing my nails commented on it and asked me how long I had waited. He apologized for the delay. I told him that I was now in a time crunch- having given myself a little over 3 hours before having to wait 40 minutes for someone to get started I now had less than 2 hours and asked if it were even possible to do a pedicure and a full set. He assured me it was more than plenty. I should also note in the 3 years I have gone here i had never seen him before. Needless to say my manicure was less than desired. He was rushed, didn't take pride in his work- the polish was awful. I had a massive polish bubble on one side of a nail where he didn't fix it. Most of the nails techs that I have had there before have always made sure that the nail at least "looked natural" ie not too thick. He didn't. 2 days later my pedicure- which was gel started to come off. I ended up taking my nails off after only a week because they were awful. I went in yesterday 2/24/19 because I had a party to go to that evening and wanted to get my nails done. The technician was not paying attention half the time, cut my skin with a nail file and proceeded to tell me that she "couldn't see a cut anywhere" I knew i had one bc I yanked my hand away 3 separate times bc I told her she was cutting me, and then when she used the acetone it burned. I was then able to clearly show her the cut which she had caused. On both occasions I was not offered a discount and was barely offered an apology for it. I'm pretty sure that for the service two weeks i was even charged more than normal. Needless to say I doubt that I will return at this Update: I have been coming back to Shellac and I do have to say it is my favorite. I have made it a point to schedule my services ahead of time so that I can get a specific nail tech which has made my experience here much better. I'm going to chalk up the other previously poor experiences to the nail tech just not being 100% those days, she was clearly distracted. But all that to say i enjoy the environment here so much more than any other place. read more

They do a wonderful job, time after time, and their staff is kind, funny, courteous and attentive. Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a nail salon. I've been back twice within 2 days to fix my nails that have already started chipping within 3 days and it's gel! I'm so annoyed this is ridiculous. Gel should last 2 weeks with no chipping and these didn't even last a day. I got them redone yesterday AGAIN and here they are chipping again the day after. They will do anything but refund you your money but at this point I'm sick of having to sit there while they probably talk mess in their language while I'm sitting there getting my nails redone for the third time because of their poor job. After a few bad experiences at nail salons, I'm always skeptical of trying out a new one. When my friend dragged me over to this one, I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing that I noticed is that it's IMMACULATELY CLEAN. Cleanliness is a huge deal to me when going to a nail salon, and let me tell you this place is spotless. On top of that, it's so gorgeous that it makes you feel like you're about to have an elite experience. You're surrounded by stunning marble and a GIANT crystal chandelier covers the ceiling. They serve FREE wine, and give you a personal massage. On top of ALL of this, they are SO affordable! My shellac manicure was only $30! Lovely shop that feels luxurious and clean. That's where it ended for me though. The service was so off-putting even after trying to love this place by visiting twice, I've had to swear off it. I found the staff who helped me, border-line rude. They were not friendly or kind to my daughter who joined me the second time. I paid the going rate for average service (awful on my daughter) and staffers who rudely speak in their own language to each other THE ENTIRE TIME. I'm foreign and bilingual too--I know that's rude. I've found a better place nearby and I'm very happy there. Take my review or leave it. I feel a nail service is a luxury and you should feel welcome and pampered--two things Shellac did not do well in my visits there. read more

An Edmond-esque vision in beige and brown, this salon is beautiful! They do quality nails, chairs are clean, fairly priced. They work quickly too. I get the powder nails and standard pedicure. Even during busy hours they get me in and out in about 1.5 hours. I'll keep coming back! read more

I'm pretty upset with this business right now. First of all I took a friend here because I have always had wonderful experiences in the past, but this was the worst pedicure I've ever had. The customer service was really bad from the start both of our nail artists had really sour attitudes. Honestly I wouldn't have minded that if they hadn't been so rough about everything they did. The massage and scraping has left my feet sore all week. Then I was charged $10 extra that I did not write on my receipt. I drew a line through the tip spot because I have never been charged so much for a pedicure. Normally I would tip something even if I had a bad experience, but to be charged a ton and then treated like we were inconveniencing them by coming in that day? I chose explicitly not to tip. Yesterday my charge was pending for the amount I agreed to pay, then today the charge was ran through for an extra $10. This may have been a mistake, but I don't see how that is possible. I am so disappointed. I have disputed the charge, and hopefully this issue will be resolved. I just didn't want anyone else to get in the same situation so I thought I needed to share. read more

I am so happy I started getting my nails done here! After moving to this side of town I stumbled in there one afternoon for a pedicure. It was great! I've been going there, religiously, for a year now! They offer you complimentary wine and have chocolates next to the pedicure chairs for you to snack on! I will say - I ONLY go to Kim for my appointments. I have gone to other people there, two different times - and they were both not the nicest and I felt they rushed through the services I was buying. If I could rate it less than one star I would. Worst experience ever. Went with a friend to get a pedicure and a dip manicure. Both ladies were so obnoxious the entire pedicure about up charging us even after we continued to say no. Left me with see through polish on my toes and during the manicure they made both of us bleed. I got grey dip and my nails are so lumpy and they look disgusting. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and this is just unacceptable customer service. So disappointed with the quality, therefor didn't tip great. The lady said "you know it's rude to tip that". Don't let the chandelier and Snicker Minis draw you in! It was my first and last visit to this cattle yard and I didn't stick around long! From the moment I walked in, I was yelled to "pick your color!" from far across the room. The woman (and I'm guessing she's either part owner or has been there a long time) then hurried over to where she pointed for me to sit down and starting rushing me along with hurried questions. I told her how I wanted my toenails shaped. She then proceeded to do it another way and then challenged/argued with me when I tried to get her to do it the way I liked. At that point, the nail tech next to her started talking about me in Vietnamese. I got up and walked out at that point. I refuse to pay money to be treated disrespectfully. Never again. Always 5 star service whenever I have an appointment with Kim, but most recently 2-3 star service with another tech. I stopped by on a Friday evening about 530. I waited 45 minutes for them to start my pedicure, which wasn't too terrible because I was enjoying the pedicure chair and warm foot soak. The girl that originally was supposed to be helping me skipped me for someone who had come in much later. She was obviously a regular and knew everyone, so whatever. The girl who finally started my pedicure was nice enough, but asked me twice if I wanted to upgrade to a more expensive pedicure and then twice if I wanted a manicure. This really irks me as a customer. It is definitely the nicest and cleanest nail salon that I have been to in OKC, though. And free drinks and chocolates are nice. read more
