To be completely fair, I don't golf. But I did come and ride along with my husband and his bestie who also had his wife for a birthday celebration. The course was soooo beautiful! The boys really seemed to love the course as well. I think they've already golfed it since. Or maybe they told their friends and they golfed it the next day. Idk, one of the two. The course is cart path only which I guess is a big deal? But really, when it's beautiful outside, that wasn't a big deal at all to them. Can 100% say I know they are heading back and I'd be more than happy to ride along when they do.

This course has beautiful scenery! Surrounded by Mountain views and pretty houses. We've played many places over the years-- fancy and casual. This course is definitely more relaxed and a great deal if looking for a few rounds and don't want to spend a ton of $$$. It was $45/ person for 18 holes. The course itself was not terribly difficult, but there was some narrow fairways that made it challenging at times. Our only complaint was cart paths were pretty rough in places due to washed out gravel. The service and other patrons were WONDERFUL! Our group of 4 agreed that everyone we came into contact with was SUPER friendly:) , overall the friendliest place we've ever played away from home. We had a great day! Thank you!!

Fairways are in great shape, rough is too long. Golf is cart path only and the cart paths are in terrible condition. Not worth the price.

So we drive up last night and were absolutely enchanted. While the venue might be on the smaller side (it's a small town vibe, so it adds to the aesthetic of it all), everyone in the play (The Secret Garden) absolutely gave the show their all. Phenomenal cast, venue, and the whole sort. They were talking about their next play in October and my friend and I are already waiting for the date so we can set it in the books to come up. It really feels like we found a little gem of cozy fun and idk if I want to share it lol! But alas, I am and I hope you all have years of success!

It's fairly steep, but less than 1/2 mile. I believe they have accommodations if you're unable to hike because I saw an older couple get in a little ATV. I came for the sunset show and it lasted 50min. There are bathrooms halfway up the hike that are super nice (very luxurious toilet paper and heated!). It's crazy seeing how the sky changes colors with the light show. Very relaxing and you can even lay down on the benches.

And it only cost me $5! The hike up to the structure was not an easy one. Trust them when they say it is moderate to difficult. There is an ATV available for those who physically cannot make the hike. I wondered on my way up if they could've done a better job of cutting the trail, making more switchbacks, so it wouldn't be as difficult. Even so, do yourself a favor and arrive early enough to walk up. Even if you have to go slowly it's worth it! . I am from the area and had to stop several times, but it gave me the opportunity to take in the beauty of the surrounding area, where I once lived for 15 years. It was lush and green from all the rain and full of summer activity. I encountered two small deer feasting on the ample greenery and was treated to the sound of happy hummingbirds busily buzzing all around me. I thought to myself "this is a Colorado!" Hopefully, GMF maintains it's small, mountain town feel indefinitely. The Skyspace structure is actually quite contemporary, but blends well with the area even so. There is a small vestibule area outside with benches where you can leave your shoes (they require everyone to remove them before entering the main space). The main space is square, with marble floors wooden benches a smooth, domed white ceiling with a square opening. The center square is the focal point. The "show" consists of a series of subtle color changes, reflected off of the ceiling. Those color changes result in color changes to the center square, which is open to the sky, which is also changing color due to the setting, or in some cases, rising, sun. Last night's show was about 50 minutes which, felt a little bit long (many attendees began fidgeting after about 30 minutes). It was quiet, meditative, and, as it turned out, exactly what I needed that evening (even if it did feel a little bit long). The effects of the hour of quiet stayed with me as I drove home and finished my day. It was dark when I hiked back down, but as recommended, I had brought a light with me. I highly recommend bringing a light source with you for the (quicker) hike back down. The light from your cell phone will probably not suffice. They do have flashlights available. Overall, the experience was very good for me. Because of the length of the show, I would recommend bringing something to sit on as the benches are very "bench-like'l and not super comfortable. Had I thought to do that, the show might not have felt long. I love Green Box Arts and the vibe they have brought to this small, mountain community!

The…read morepeople and experiences we had here are exactly what you want from just this kind of place. I could not say enough nice things. It was fun, peaceful and rewarding all at once. Last summer was really hot and we don't have any air conditioning of any kind at all..none. This is what prompted our spur of the moment mountain road trip. We needed the elevation, we wanted to get away to cool off, I googled and we found 'The Triple B Ranch'. This was a really awesome find. So the directions to Woodland Park that they emailed me were dead on. Please remember it was my daughters and myself in uncharted territory in the minivan on the loose. The fact that we made it there without incident is a really super duper start in my book. Thanks Triple B. We pull up on a dusty dirt road and we know it's going to be just perfect. We check in at the front office, the ladies there are great and send us off to our cabin. How cute...how clean...how quaint...how newly done but still SO rustic. We brought a lot of grub so I can cook while here. Full kitchen..bonus! There is NO TV we can actually communicate. I LOVE IT HERE and may never ever leave. OK... so we settle in and the first thing we notice is a huge, super fun amount of farm cats, very willing to buddy up to you and nuzzle like they've known you for years. We named a big, fat, orange one Whiskers and I swear he came each time we called. He was the quintessential fat cat. I am pretty sure he slept in between my daughters in an actual bed the last night after potentially sharing roasted chicken but you did not hear this from me....Also a new litter of kittens under the cabins next to ours was enough entertainment for days on end. Whiskers won my heart though. The second thing we saw was David, one of the ranch hands taking the mares from the stables to the pastures for the night. OMG he walked the mommies and their foals would trot along beside them and it was the cutest most beautiful thing we'd ever seen. Mommy horses and babies...right outside our doorstep? Life is sooo good. We went on beautiful guided rides, one for a steak dinner. It was sublime. The ranch hands, Brittany and David were totally into encouraging my daughters and even allowed them full barn access and had them feed the mares by themselves one night. They were THRILLED. Thank you both sooo much! My kids will never forget this. You are both priceless. It is also within about 20 miles of different great CO. locations in and near Colorado Springs. We did the Cog railroad and had a blast. It is really a pretty place to be. A great place to be. We just enjoyed ourselves...it was simple and TV free and full of animals both big and small. The staff was top notch and we are so coming back. This place made me feel better, made some incredible memories and helped me see life more clearly..how many stars is that worth?

I mistakenly assumed that the gift certificate would be good for at least the next year, but it turns out it was limited to nine months. When the weather improved after our busy summer came to an end, we went to book our ride and was told our gift certificate expired one week prior. Nowhere on my receipt did it have an expiration date, and I was never told of one. It was in very small print on the attachment to the gift certificate. I was told there was no exceptions to be made even if I was flexible on our available dates. As locals, this is very disappointing and we will definitely remember this going forward as we could've been long-term customers. We'll be sure to spread the lack of customer service to everybody we know locally as well. My wife was devastated as she was very much looking forward to this after some major life issues during our summer. Sad to see the lack of caring from a local community business.
