The big wall clocks of table stand clocks are almost $600. Will have to think about that for a bit, $600 seems like a lot for a wall clock to me, but it's Shinola after all. They have this really fun back leather weaved bag for about $350, it's cool, but I am not sure I would use it at all. I don't carry around such a large bag here and only use my leather backpack purse when I travel. The bags had no closure or zip and the handles are too short to comfortably put it on your shoulder. I couldn't justify buying a bag just it have to sit in my closet. read more

This is a true Detroit ICON of a company and has been integral in the resurgence of Detroit. They're known for their watches and watch bands but it was their leather briefcases, backpacks and travel cases that caught my eye. They're made of extremely high quality American made and sourced materials. The series of leather from the runwell backpacks was especially impressive with cognac, yellow, black and elephant leather colors to choose from. The leather is very thick and sturdy with some of the heavier leather hides I've encountered they're on the pricey side though at around $995 and up so this is a purchase you would get for yourself or someone to celebrate a milestone or something special but from what I've seen in store they do look and feel worth it. The only concern is that the bag is already heavy and adding things into it will only add to this so I'd be mindful of that if you have back problems or need to be more mobile. I enjoyed the experience and the staff was friendly and willing to show me and give some background on their products which I was impressed with as this is certainly an investment type of purchase. read more

Great place to buy Shinola products at a discount. As with all outlet locations the selection maybe limited and which specific items are on sale varies. Everything is a decent amount cheaper than msrp, maybe 20% or more. If there is an additional sale then it'd be like 20% off msrp and another 50 on top of that. read more

I've shopped at this location a number of times over the years and the customer service is always top-notch. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Roland, who was knowledgeable about watches in general and could answer my questions about Shinola's automatic movements. I checked out the Shinola outlet today because I eventually want a Shinola watch, but don't want to shell out $550+ for it ... At the outlet, the watches start at $150, which was nice. You also get 10% off if you buy a refurbished watch, which means either one that's been used before or perhaps one that was a floor model. I was told by the sales lady that you still get Shinola's lifetime warranty guarantee too, which is great. I saw they had some nice leather laptop/tablet cases for $99 too ($250 originally) which would make a nice gift. I'll probably return at some point for a watch. read more

Great store! Merchandise is always changing based on what gets sent to them. They offer Shinola products at a nice discount and sometimes have additional savings off those prices. Everything is first quality, just usually older products that have been updated in their regular stores. read more

I wanted graduation presents for my kids (twins) but didn't want to have to declare bankruptcy. I also didn't want to drive all the way up there (live on the East side) and find nothing. So, I called this morning and talked to Jordan who was great - told me what they had in stock and what prices things were at. I drove up there and found the perfect watches for each of them at just about half what I'd have paid in midtown. I actually had it down to 4 and Jordan let me put them on hold, go eat lunch & come back. No pressure at all. Had I walked out of there with nothing, I would not have felt like I had been under any pressure. Jordan explained the warranty and how my kids could exchange the watch if they did not like them. All in all, another great Shinola experience (I buy my kids each a planner for the college year in December). Highly recommend. read more

First time here , greeted with a smile. Was offered a Shinola cola ( very cool) and Roland was my salesperson. He was very helpful and took out a link in my band without a complaint. Provided me details on the lifetime warranty. Left with my first Shinola, with a smile and a great price that was only a fraction of the retail. This Shinola outlet store is fabulous for those that do not want to pay the full price at a retail store. The prices are at least 20% off and I was able to get a passport holder from $150 on sale for $50. Remember that this is an outlet store. The best new designs will not be here. There may be some that are very nice that one can get for a good discount. It's the same as going to a Michael Kors outlet or a Coach outlet. I'm sure over time there will be more items for the outlet. Enjoy it now and definitely keep an eye out for new stock that comes in every week. read more

Shinola has some beautiful products that are proudly from Detroit, Michigan. The reason I'm giving this outlet 2 stars is because the outlet has no organization at the cashier area. Customers cut in front of me and when I pointed this out to cashiers, they didn't care or take action. When exiting the store, I told the greeter and said they had just lost a customer. I'd strongly advise against shopping at this outlet unless if you don't mind pushing/arguing with line-jumping customers. read more

I have shopped here several times and have always found really great gifts for my daughters and their husbands at substantial savings. The employees have always been more than helpful. I have purchased many leather products and taken them to Somerset Mall to have monogrammed at no charge. I have also left a "wish list" with employees of products not in stock. I was then called if the product came in. I have also purchased over the phone, and the products were delivered the next day! read more
