Lou put two sets of pads inside, and I was able to wear them. He fits customers properly for the quality shoes he sells, and can repair everything from shoes to belts and purses. Pricing is really high. I get that it is located downtown, but I won't choose this business again based on the very high prices. $20 to replace plastic heel caps on pumps is on the high side. I have used numerous cobblers for 25 years in bigger cities and feel like I have a good point of reference. I didn't end up leaving my ballet flats to be resoled. The cost would have been $85. $60-75 is average for flat soles. You also have to pay up front. I'm used to paying upon pickup with other repair shops. Leaving your expensive shoes is enough collateral. Lead time was two weeks for the heel cap replacement. While it's good to be busy, that is too long to wait. When I picked up the shoes, there was glue up the black satin heel. Poor workmanship. Service seems below average, expensive, and wasn't exceptional. read more

Not many shoe repair shops. He is a bit less expensive than another. Wanted to see if a strap on an older pair of sandals could be repaired. Was praying they could be. I have shoe problems, now compounded with foot issues. What few shoes I own, that I can wear, are old. These sandals and I go back a long way. I only wanted an opinion if they could be repaired. The strap was starting to come out of the sole, from under the insole. He said the sole was dry. He turned the sandal over and cracked the Sole In Half. I asked why did you do that? He said with a blank face, there're old. Then he cracked the other one! He did in anger, because I didn't purchase some salt removal products for suede black shoes, in the Winter.He said he would call me psycho in his reply. I am very dissatisfied with their services and customer service! I took a pair of kids Uggs my niece's new pair that had a spot and I did not want to destroy them to spray them myself so I said let's take them to a professional to clean them and take the spot out!! I paid 40$ for that and when I got them back they were all ruined from the scrubbing and they looked like a pair of old Uggs used and abused! This Uggs we're new wore 2 times! We went back to ask for the money we paid for the boots and damage he did, and all we got from the owner was yelling and we were thrown out of the store and no money back! All I was offered at the end was 20$ and offered to clean them again which the boots are already ruined so is nothing to be cleaned anymore ! Very disappointed and for sure not going back and I would not recommend them ! read more

Grossly overpriced & extremely long wait times. The work is average, definitely wouldn't recommend.

1. i got a new bag that's kind of like a big fanny pack, but the strap would never stay adjusted to where i put it, so i brought it in and spoke to a man behind the counter. he suggested sewing the strap in place, but i told him i don't want to do that bc i will wear it multiple ways. i was very clear about it. he put a piece of paper on it to remind himself what needs to be done. time goes by, i returned to pick up my bag, and i noticed that the strap was stitched in place ‍ so i reminded him of our conversation and he said he'll fix it, no problem. and he said i won't be able to see where the stitching was. WRONG. i saw it, and my bag's strap still isn't fixed. i ate that cost. 2. i dropped my MIL's boots off to get cleaned up. months later, they still weren't done. each time i checked, they gave me an anticipated date of completion, and then they blew past that date. by the time they were finally done and i went to pick them up, they couldn't find them. the guy showed me somebody else's boots and asked if they're my MIL's. ugh. ultimately, they found the right boots and they had successfully rejuvenated them, but it took forfreakingever! 3. they did something to my husband's boots that irked us but i can't remember it at the moment. i'm gonna find another shop. i have ZEEERO confidence in this shop's ability to do what we ask and to do it in a timely fashion. read more

This is one of the best show repair stores. They do it all and really great prices. The can resole any shoe (even louboutin with exact red bottoms). Lou makes sure you get your shoes back pretty quick with great quality work. There also comfortably work shoes for sale in the store too. read more

I would not recommend this business to anyone. I took a purse strap in to be repaired. After no less than 6 trips into the shop to pick it up over 2.5 months, it was still not repaired so I ended up going elsewhere for the repair. There was always an excuse, he needed to order the right color thread, he had Covid, he needed the right needle for the stitching. Each time he said come back in a week and he would be done but it never was. The last visit to the shop, there was an elderly women complaining about the exact same issue. I would not recommend this to anyone and I'm surprised he stays in business if he treats all of his customers this way. read more

I brought a pair of boots in to get a quote of how much it would cost to get fixed. The price was a little higher than I thought my boots were worth, so as I politely declined and took my boots to leave, the owner got very defensive and brash (I was surprised as this was in front of other customers). He was obviously angry that I thought his workmanship wasn't worth his quoted price and invited me (or rather ordered me) into his work area to "see how [my] work is done!". I told him that wasn't necessary and that it wasn't his workmanship that was in question. I reiterated that I didn't feel my boots had enough life left in them to warrant putting that much more money into them. I then walked out telling him that if that's the kind of attitude he gives to a potential customer, I'd never set foot back in his store. He obviously thinks very highly of himself. read more

I recently ran into a little Jam and needed my best shoes repaired right away,Lou had just left for the day and his right hand man new that I was serious, he called Lou on his cell and would you believe that Lou turned around and came right back , he was all dressed up on his way to wedding but took off his jacket rolled up his sleeves and went right to work . Before you knew it he was done with my repair . He gave me a hug and said no charge !! Now Lou had taken care of me over the years but wow!! I have trusted many pairs of shoes to LTS Shoe Repair. Prices are reasonable for their level of experience. I'm happy to support this local business. The location is downtown so expect to park in the back parking lot. No surprise there. I do wish they had a more organized process for cycling shoes in and out. I've expressed concern about suede and white shoes being tossed in with the piles of dirty shoes but to no avail. Wish that would change. read more

I have used this repair shop for a couple pairs of shoes and I will say you had better not bring in anything expensive or precious to be repaired. I have had resoling, stretching, and alterations done on mine and each time they came back less than perfect. They treat your shoes like they are some $2 wreck that you would find at goodwill. I brought a pair of Louboutin sandals in to be fixed and they sliced them HORRIBLY and completely ruined them. I won't be going back. Parking is another issue. Went to LTS shoes repair to have 2 pairs of very expensive shoes repaired. When i picked up my shoes, the job was excellent. Both pairs look like the were brand new factory finish. They use best quality material made in USA and Italy.
