There's paint damage to the front of the bike, and the gear switch. My lines were left a mess at the front of the bike. There was grease left all over the bike. None of this was ever brought to my attention, and in my excitement I didn't notice until I arrived home late Friday night. When I was handed my envelope I had to fold it to get it into my pocket. So I asked is there anything breakable in here? "No' you can go ahead and fold that." I heard the disc break as I folded the envelope. I tool pictures outside the shop, so after I noticed the damaged paint I zoomed in later that night, and you can clearly see what I'm talking about before I had even left the store. I'm very disappointed with my experience, and all future cycling purchases will be made elsewhere.

Mason took both bikes to the back and had them both fixed within 15 minutes. While I knew they didn't need major work, I expected to leave the bikes with them until they could find time to look at them. Both bikes needed the cable tension tightened and air in the tires. While being a minor fix, Mason took care of me just like I was one of their biggest customers. We aren't the most avid bikers but GRBC has earned our business going forward.

My usual bike shop was quoting 6 weeks out for a tuneup, but Switchback was able to get to me in 3 weeks, and boasted a 24-hour turnaround once they had the bike. Sure enough, I dropped my bike off on Wednesday afternoon and got a text on Thursday afternoon saying that my bike was ready. Everyone in the shop was friendly and professional, and I felt like the price was very fair for the service provided. I felt listened to when I was describing the issues with my bike, and I'm happy to report that every single concern I had been resolved by the time I picked it back up. To top it all off, I took a test ride when I got home, and I don't think I've had a ride that smooth since I first bought the bike. After having visited a few other stores where no one could help us or understood their products, it was a relief to find this store. The owner, Tom, takes great pride in his great customer service - took us out in the parking lot to try out a few different bikes, and what helped us make the decision is the warranty, and being able to have a brick and mortar to bring the bikes in for service as needed. They have fixed my families bikes, including my son's custom Ti bike adding a Rohloff bike shifting system, which carries a lifetime warranty. I have purchased several bikes from Ryan and Tim at the downtown store and they always take care of any needs I have for service or repair. My favorite purchase has been the Cervelo Aspero gravel bike, which I rode with my son from Seattle to Chicago two summers ago.
