I went in the morning get my car washed and it only did half my car. The other half was soapy and…read morenever dried my car. I had to go thru again to get as much soap off as I could. And again it didn't clean my car. I left a message at Kirkland Car Wash and didn't hear back. I then messaged them online and I still haven't heard back. I will never go back. Terrible customer service. I wish I could rate this place a 0

The first thing to realize about this Washougal location of Kirkland Premier car wash is that it is…read moretotally automated and there is no attendant on-site. If a problem occurs, there is no information provided there about who to call or a button to press for assistance. We've been using this location (and some of their others) for some time because a touchless car wash is preferred. We know how it usually works. Typically, it does a fair job, but this review specifically addresses our visit on 5/3/2026 when we paid $23.86 (including tax) for their premium wash. The announcement kept telling us to pull forward and didn't ever detect our large Ford Edge slowly moving forward and tell us to stop, and it just switched to saying exit. We were robbed of our money with no immediate recourse. We hung around for a minute fuming and warned off another person who came by, then headed home. I went to their website kirklandpremiercarwash.com and filled out the "Get in Touch" form. (While online I also noted others complaining about their money being taken with no wash on the Facebook Camas & Washougal Community Discussion.) A week later, since there was no response to my online contact form, I called in and the lady on the phone acknowledged they had to send a technician out for an issue on that date. I asked for our money back and she said something about having problems with the computer needed to issue refunds. She took my name and number and as of this date we still have not been issued a refund. As a result, we entered a dispute with our credit card company. Interestingly, the card we filed a dispute with no longer works at their car washes.

My car wash review…read more Review: "The Psycho Ex of Car Washes" Rating: (Out of 5) | Depends on her mood, honestly. Look, this place is the ultimate toxic ex-girlfriend of the automated car wash world. She is incredibly convenient. She lives right down the street, and when things are good? They are great. If I manage to catch her in the right mood, she absolutely puts out. I'm talking the full treatment--triple foam conditioner, the undercarriage blast, the high-pressure rinse that leaves me absolutely gleaming. When she's on, she delivers, and I walk away thinking, "Damn, maybe we can make this work." But Christ, the mind games. Half the time I drive by hoping for a quick rinse, she's completely shut down. No warning, no signs, just a cold, dead lane and a "Closed" sign staring at me like a blank unread text. Her schedule makes absolutely zero sense. Does she care if I leave? Nope. Does she care if I go to the shiny new touchless wash down the highway? Not a chance. She knows I'll be back because she's right there, and I'm a sucker for convenience. The Verdict: It's a total pain in the ass, and I lose a little bit of my dignity every time I pull into the driveway wondering if I'm going to get lucky or get ghosted. See you next week, you beautiful disaster
