I haven't bought more than $40 worth of groceries in four years probably. That's about all you can carry on a bike, I suppose. Anyway, I guess some things are better left to a grocery store. See, I wasn't able to place an order with Dormzy because they're out of stock of pretty much every food item they carry. Well, everything my diet allows anyway. That's just not going to cut it for a food business. Why would I wait for you to restock when I can just do it the old fashioned way? Take a look for yourself; I'm not exaggerating. Almost every item I looked at...unavailable. If the snow keeps coming down, maybe I'll give Dormzy another chance before winter is out, but I really don't know.

I'd come back every few days to find the same. One day they had 20 items showcased on their shopping home page and only 7 of the 20 were available. I went by their 2-3 day shipping and ads stating "it's easy, it's quick". Well first... there is nothing quick about their website. Browsing items is painful and time consuming. especially when none are in stock. when I found the site fairly well stocked, I finally ordered late 3/8/11 knowing the order would not be processed until the next day. I ordered with an out of town weekend in mind, purchasing snack bars, candy, chips and such for the road trip and hotel stay. Items I generally would not purchase on the daily. We wouldn't be leaving until dawn 3/18 so ample time for arrival. on 3/15 I realize... "where's dormzy?" I check my online order status... "awaiting shipping" WHAT??? will it even be here for the trip?? I emailed them... and received a prompt reply that they had switched shipping methods this week... blah blah blah... welllll ok, but... no email? and I ordered LAST week, not this week. the email said they'd ship by weeks end. ACK!! I called them... explained that I ordered based on their advertised shipping times and ordered a bunch of junk food specifically for the weekend it's about to not arrive for. the guy was super nice and said he'd ship it Wednesday to arrive Thursday. and it did arrive today... short a few items that were "out of stock" after I had ordered (surprise) and although I never received any kind of "your order has shipped" email tracking, they did email that they credited my dormzy account for the missing items. all in all... it's a terrific idea in theory but the availability and timing wasn't something that makes me want to order again. I also thought ordering would eliminate a grocery stop before travel... but I still have to go.

My home is a 4 bedroom house with a basement but not everything needed to be moved out. It took them way longer than expected to complete the move (12 hours one day and had to come back the next day to finish for 8 hours or so!). The total bill charged ended up being way more (obviously) than I anticipated.... Way too expensive than the competitors. To make matters worse, during our move (8/11/2019), the movers scratched my hardwood floor but were prompt in recognizing the issue and submitting it right away to their "Claims" department (I doubt there is such a department as I have yet to receive a call from them or anyone from this company in the matter). I have been calling them constantly to follow up on the claim as I am in the process of finalizing a sale on my house and have still not gotten a resolution. I keep getting the run arounds every time I call them and never get any followup call backs as they always promise. It's 8/30/19 today and still no resolution and I am closing on my house in less than a week. My latest call conversation was on Wednesday, 8/28/19 and the representative promised he would give me a status update on the same day and still nothing 2 days later. Mind you, when they were partially down with the work on the first day, they requested payment to be made right before they could leave my house but it's taking them weeks to even attempt to process my claim. SO FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!!! NEVER USING THEM, EVER AGAIN!!!

You have a concierge to answer questions when you purchase & a dispatcher to tell you where the movers are via text and/or phone call. A $400 down payment is required. Our rate was $160/hour all inclusive, no minimum # of hours required. We had about 25 items moved, all big stuff like mattresses, washer, dryer, couch, dressers... it took them 3 hours, including 25 minute travel time. All payment can be made online via PayPal. Tommy, Mark and Matt, our movers, were phenomenal. They offered to move any item we wanted & were great conversationalist. While they deserved several breaks, they didn't stop until they were done. The service, friendliness and communication from booking the appointment to the last item moved exceeded my expectations. In general, hiring movers is worth every penny. I can not recommend Local Anything enough! The only complaint I had was they arrived an hour and a half later than the 2 hour buffer/service time. Though they quickly made up for that small annoyance.

But then with complications with the portal/catheter placed in my spouse's body to get the dialysis process to work we had to go to a surgical center multiple times to get replaced. Then in June 2025 we had to go to Riverside hospital multiple times to place an alternative portal for dialysis in my spouse's body. Owners Dean & Aiesha Bonsu of Bolt Medical Transportation have come to our rescue in a BIG WAY to provide transportation for all these medical appts/sessions as early as 6 AM in the morning and many different times during the day. Their dedication for their handling of my spouse in their wheelchair each trip is SECOND TO NONE. Their attitude & care in this service is also SECOND TO NONE. We have no "backup plan" for a different service with a handicap accessible wheelchair vehicle so whether texting or calling Dean to arrange a pickup from home to a medical appt and/or contacting Dean for the different length of these appts is no problem to make us wait for an extended period of time. This is a very PROFESSIONAL SERVICE and I would recommend their service to anyone that needs this type of transportation.
