Welcoming Host, very nice waitress Vanessa was friendly and personable made us feel right at home. The GM Enesto was very caring and professional, when I mentioned the Matcha Latte experiences. I order "The best freaking Birria Hash and the classic waffle; & Ube Matcha Latte (seasonal drink) which was amazing. MY friend ordered the Brunch Sandwich which looked awesome. deep dive deets: The birria Hash, was way more potatoes than hash, it was better describe as lightly smushed baby potatoes, which was way more than the birria. -1 This Birria had a tad fat on it, not the kind of birria I'm use to. I did asked and was told that their's no fat. However, it wasn't much to complain about. (-1 uncooked onions could've been on the side) -1 I requested NO ice in my matcha, and ice on the side. I received a glass full, and when I received my replacement without ice, it was half a glass. Something about measurements. It was fantastic nonetheless. +1 I love that Christin gave me a future suggestion about the waffle; which the kid waffle is the same thing, but comes with a side for less. -1 I couldn't believe that a plain waffle w/sugar was $11, and to add fruit was nearly a $3 add on. +1 I like that my table guest was able to sub the sausage patty for extra beacon. Love that they have a DJ right at the front door setting the mood for the place. Service- was good. Our server Savannah managed our large party to best of her ability. The place was pretty full. Which I knew it would be. It's definitely a fun party atmosphere. Seating is mostly inside but they do have a smallish patio outside. Which they really should work on. Half the tables outside did not have any chairs. On a nice day, it's a place to double customers. Food- I got the Basic AF breakfast which was pretty tasty and you get to sample a good amount. Comes with 4 small pancakes, eggs your way, 1 meat choice, and potatoes. The potatoes surprised me, as they look so unassuming but are very tasty. If in the area would not mind returning.

At 11am on a Sunday they ran out of eggs, bacon, and sausage. The service was excellent. Lexi was knowledgeable and gave us alternatives when they ran out of things. Even my wife loved it. Oxtail quesadillas: 8/10... Flavorful and honestly a thing for people who actually like oxtails. I personally don't care for oxtails like that so take this review with a grain of salt. It was very well seasoned and did not lack flavor.

Then upon arrival we entered and it was a great vibe - music, decor, plenty of seating. It was happy hour so the apps were discounted (which we love!!) A little dry/flat in comparison to the egg rolls Oxtail omelette - it has all the right elements. Everything was cooked well, presentation was nice, serving was great... but interestingly idk I just wouldn't order again. I think I just prefer to eat oxtail and eggs separately, not combined. Chicken and waffles - yes. yes. yessssssssss. Delicious! Try it. Would recommend and try again!

We also tried the bacon cheeseburger w/ sweet potato fries and loaded pulled pork fries. We came during happy hour when their cocktails are $2 off and tried the "bloody moly" and the Moscow mule, as well. Everything we had was super solid and I could see us making this a regular spot since it's here in the neighborhood and so convenient. Regarding the food, we got a half order of the loaded fries which ended up being way bigger than anticipated - a super good deal being only $4! Could definitely be a meal. The pizza was also yummy w/ a really good sauce and plenty of cheese. The burger was simple but tasty, especially when we added a little mustard, and the sweet potato fries were crispy and seasoned w/ what seemed like a cajun spice mix. We got too full to try dessert, but saw bread pudding and churros on their menu, so will have to return and give those a try!

I was looking for a place to pick up coffee and came across Canela Caffe. After browsing their Yelp…read morepage, I realized they serve food as well, so I decided to stop in for lunch and coffee to go. They're located in a small shopping strip off of Hwy 6 at Savannah Pkwy. Parking is adequate and the shopping strip is located at a traffic light which is so helpful when trying to get back on to Hwy 6. I was greeted pretty quickly by one of the employees. I placed my order at the register up front, then grabbed a seat to wait. While I waited, I noticed the steady stream of customers coming in. The dining room is rather large and they had quite a few tables. I also noticed a colorful photo op wall. I didn't have to wait too long for my order. I read positive reviews about the Coconut Coffee so that's what I went with. I ordered it iced, however they brought me a hot one. I went ahead and kept it because I didn't want to wait any longer for my much needed caffeine fix. To my surprise, the Coconut Coffee was very good! I really enjoyed the coconut shavings. For my meal, I ordered the Potato and Egg Breakfast Tacos and added cheese. I opted for a side of refried black beans. When I got home, I discovered that the tacos didn't have any cheese on them. To add insult to injury, the tacos and beans were extremely bland. I tried the red and green salsa, and they were spicy, but good. It definitely helped to add some flavor.

My partner got his omelette plate. Kevin was very cheerful, friendly and ready to help. I would give his service 10/10. Neatly maintained, ambiance is simple yet welcoming.
