Dear donut man you get my 4 stars, their lattes are really good for a small donut place(better than Starbucks). Their donuts/twist are really good, it was a quick stop for a latte but I ended up grabbing a cinnamon twist as well. The cinnamon twist was so good, an even mixture of cinnamon and dough. This is Alvin and now many city's donut shop they got it all coffee / donuts / energy Drinks and of course kolches (I cant spell ) they even have it where you get a dz free donuts on your birthday cant beat that !!!! They have some of the best Vietnamese iced coffee I've ever had and bacon ham and Swiss kolche is where it's at !!!!!! I love as most should showing up right when they first open and get the. I do not recommend this place. I go inside to buy donuts and my card is not working. I have no idea why and I'm standing there very confused. As I'm trying to process why my card is "declining", the woman behind the counter is yelling " Your card is declining , it's declined! It's not me , it's you! " Mind you this is at 7:30 am with TONS of people inside. Everyone heard her because they were staring at me as I left. I was mortified. There was not an ounce of understanding or attempt to be discreet. She instead yelled at me as if I was holding up the line. Shame on her for treating a customer that way. Where is your humility? I also get donuts here almost every morning... not anymore. I will not be back after the scene she caused while outing my business. read more

And now the super sweet change of names to Dear Donut Man is just super awesome. Service here is terrible. I stood at the counter for about 3 minutes while one employee served another customer and two other employees just stood there and ignored me. Then two other customers walked in (two men much younger than me) and one of the employees who was ignoring me immediately asked them what she could get for them. I said, very pointedly, "Hello, I'm standing here." She replied "Hello sir," and then, turning back to the two young men, again asked what she could get for them. I said "I was here first." She replied "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought someone else was already helping you." I don't believe she was telling the truth. She could not have thought I was just saying hello to her because I didn't know her and had never seen her before. She just chose to ignore me and serve other customers who were behind me in the line. read more

First time visit based on other Yelp reviews. This is the best place for breakfast or sweet snack during the day. Large counter area (no crowding), a few tables, lots of selections. The display cases, counters, tables, and floors are very clean. Plenty of staff to wait on customers. Drive thru lane busy but moving. I wanted a kolache but ended up ordering a biscuit, sausage, egg & cheese sandwich and a blueberry muffin. Both were excellent. I will be back for the Kolaches. Many varieties (regular & hill country size), boudin, some with cheese or jalapenos or both. read more

A Gem of a donut shop!!! Andy knows what people like when comes to good kolaches! My favorite are the Brisket Kolaches and I will be back to try more. The guys from work all love it and I drive out of my way just for these items when its my turn to buy. The iced coffee is also the best you will find out there. Love this place! Staff is sweet and their kolaches and donuts are delicious!! They have a combination of kolaches, as well as sizes. If you like some heat then their jalapeño kolaches are a must! This place is the only place that has a perfect chocolate glaze donut that tastes like chocolate. I've found other places to have a weird taste with their chocolate glaze, but this place is spot on. read more

I absolutely love this place and make it a point to stop every time I'm in the area. My daughter loves that they do a powdered sugar yeast doughnut hole. They gave me my first kolache to try and honestly it was AMAZING!! It was so good I ordered two dozen for my daughters class party that same week. They also are very accommodating. When I asked for a white chocolate hot chocolate, they custom made one for me for their very first time...it was outstanding by the way! It reminded me of the gourmet coffee and cocoa shacks in Alaska. These folks have it together! Great doughnuts, excellent service, and delicious coffee! I can't wait until next time. This is a awesome little shop! They have some amazing kolaches! Especially, the bbq ones! ( go early they run out of these very fast!) The staff is always friendly and very nice. The coffee is brewed just perfect and is always fresh. I go here at least once a week. Try the hazelnut iced coffee, it's delicious. I'm not a big donut fan, but every time I bring donuts for a social event I get them from here and everyone gobbles them up and raves about how good they are. The only issue I have is the drive thru, it's basically because how the parking lot is set up, it can be kind of awkward maneuvering a bigger vehicle. But it's worth the loop around! read more
