In Hawaii they make a Portuguese donut called Malasada which are mind-blowing. These are very similar in that they're soft and flaky inside but crispy exteriors. Think Kristy Kreme if it was full of gamma rays and someone made it very angry. They come with your choice of a full palette of designer toppings not unlike Crumbl Cookies. The atmosphere of the shop is standard. Clean simple modern aesthetic. But the donuts are the star of the show and reasonably priced for the incredible quality. I went in to pick this up at 9pm and this place was POPPIN!! There was a line 10 people long!! Not to fret tho, I was acknowledged quickly and within just a few minutes they were able to help me! They were so friendly and sweet! The bakery itself was decorated to the Ts for Christmas and they had cases and cases of delicious sweets and breads, the whole place felt warm and welcoming!
