I came here last week looking to get a trade in value for my sportster. I'm a long time gsxr rider, getting on in age and so I bought a sportster. Change in engine size is barely perceptible even with performance enhancing mods. Largely ignored by the sales team, came with the intention of buying more parts or, just trading in and starting fresh. There was one sales associate who seemed to be a straight shooter.. so I just kept eating my road pop tart and listened intently even though I was really waiting for that TIV report. I never had this issue before. Some made eye contact and kept right on walking by. Maybe it was my tattoos or I just looked like I didn't have the disposable income. Usually you're surrounded by a flock of salesman. Must be new management or owners because the merchandising in store is, lacking something to be desired. I hope they have a solid customer base out here that's not Military, because this dealership is everything I'm NOT looking for in a purchase experience. Same thing happened at new river which is sad because I really liked the guy who worked the parts counter. There are worse things than having to spend a small fortune in motorcycle parts elsewhere. Like Hardknox. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Then there was the one employee who complained about me smelling like the devils lettuce. Within EARSHOT!!! After purchasing a $49,000 motorcycle from this dealership, I had them install a light kit and a sissy bar. Less than a month later and with under 1,000 miles on the bike, the light strip they installed stopped working. What's frustrating is that the light kit supposedly has a lifetime warranty, yet I was told I would still need to pay for a diagnostic fee just to find out why it isn't working. Their diagnostic rate is $150 per hour. In my opinion, if a part fails that quickly after installation, it should be inspected under warranty without charging the customer just to look at it. On top of that, the customer service experience was disappointing. Instead of working toward a reasonable solution, the conversation turned into an argument. After spending this kind of money on a motorcycle, I expected better support. I regret purchasing my bike from this dealership and hope others read reviews carefully before deciding to buy here. read more

Called to have my Harley picked up from my work where it broke down, was told what day they were going to pick it up, day came around and no one showed up, by the time I was leaving work I called and was told there was a problem with the truck the previous day and that the driver was about a half hour away, so we put it off till the next day, would have been nice to get a call about the whole situation in the first place, but I didn't get one. Driver showed up next day and picked up my motorcycle, three days later I go in to check on it and the service center said "oops" your motorcycle was never put into the system so no one has looked at it, really, he apologized, but it seems that is all I get out of this dealership is apologies for bad service, this is not the first case of poor service from this dealership. read more

Hard pass on Carolina Coast H-D. Was in the area, Walked in, was looking for a CVO and some gear for my girlfriend who is a new rider. I guess it was bring your dog into work day, because the sales clerk was more interested in her new pup's kennel behind the counter. Tried to open and asked about a size medium for a helmet in stock, the sales rep seemed irritated I even asked for help. I just left and drove to Fort Bragg H-D and got what I wanted. ‍ read more

I walked around this place for 15 minutes before I was asked if I need anything or even acknowledged. There were 2 other customers in the store besides me! On top of that, the employee who asked if I was doing okay spoke because I walked by their sitting area where she had her legs crossed playing on her phone. Horrible! I'll just spend my money where it's appreciated and where ppl work and do their job for it. This was only my second time coming to this HD store and I remember the last time I came with a buddy it took a while for us to get any assistance,..but to their defense it was a busy day so I didn't think anything of it. Won't be making too many more stops here. Plenty of other HD Dealers here in the Carolina's who keep their customers happy and coming back. read more

Really great experience with Vince & Bobby and the service department. I was in town for only a couple of days and wanted to get an engine guard and foot pegs installed to make an upcoming long ride home more comfortable. I have always enjoyed my visit to Carolina Coast Harley. When walking around the showroom I appreciate the fact a salesman isn't suddenly in my face for a sale. It's laid back atmosphere makes it comfortable to browse and soak in all the beauty. Whenever I needed assistance everyone was ready to help. Over the years I have bought Four Harleys and the sale transactions have been smooth and fast unlike a car dealership that makes it an all day event. Young lady at the cash register was so friendly and helpful. Got a great pair of riding gloves on clearance thanks to her! Then it went to s***... She directed me to "Ash" when I inquired about a rental program. Ash was Snapchatting when I first walked by and I didn't want to interrupt that wonderful kissy-face moment for her. After checking out I went over to her and inquired about rental program she said "we don't have any" before I could say in July. After I explained it would be in July she took an exaggerated deep breath and said we're in the process of changing our program so I can't give you any information on rates. I explained that that was fine and what would I need my license and insurance? After another pause and deep breath she said well there will be a $2,500 hold on your card and you have to purchase our insurance. I said okay. How far in advance should I book my rental? I will be here mid July. Her answer "I don't know you'll just have to call it's hit or miss things are starting to get warm in July so we may not have any." Pretty sure that's why I asked about booking in advance! This really sucks as I will be spending the full month of July in the area with some other friends and we will now have to travel to New River Harley-Davidson. Maybe I don't look the part in a sweat shirt and blue jeans or maybe she's just having a bad day either way her attitude just cost at least 5 motorcycles for 2 weeks rental. read more
