I've seen Dr. Wang a total of 3 times already. She's professional, takes the time to sit and ask questions and listen to you, offers options and advice. She not only comes across as your doctor, but is also caring, warm and friendly. She's very easy to open up and talk to about sensitive health subjects. What I like is that she takes a holistic approach to things and she also is very knowledgeable with women's hormones and health. Trust this advice, people will show you who they are. This person wastes your time. I scheduled a consultation and the following day received multiple emails, the first had a link for our video consult, the next 3 after that were multiple pages of paperwork to fill out which took me about an hour to complete. No link to pay for the consult which I assumed meant I pay after, especially since you sign a form that says if you go over your time you pay for the extra time. I showed up promptly at 9 am and waited....and waited....and waited...15 minutes in I sent an email inquiring. Nothing. I tried notifying the host as well...nothing. After my appointment time came and went I sent a second email....nothing. Not sure what her excuse is but frankly it doesn't matter. I don't appreciate having my time wasted, no one does. But for 30 minutes she made me wait for nothing, not including the additional hour I put into all that paperwork. It doesn't matter if something came up, or she didn't want to take me on as a patient, either way all she needed to do was send me an email saying "hey, something has come up," or "hey I read your paperwork and I don't think we're a good fit." That's fine, just don't make me sit around for 30 minutes when I have other things to do! I attached email receipts for proof. I had the good fortune to be invited to participate in Bowenwork massage with some friends. I'd heard it had an intense effect on your body to release negative energies. It consisted of brief moderate pressure at specific points followed by a gentle stroke over the muscles and tendons associated with that point. The "release" came the next day for me and was very strong (my husband didn't appreciate my outburst). I felt irritable, uncomfortable and dizzy. It passed quickly and I apologized and went to bed. Ozone Therapy results a month later: Since there's not an immediate result to ozone therapy, I waited a while to see how my overall health might improve. I have COVID with pneumonia in March of 2020 and long haul (post virus and pneumonia issues) left me exhausted with bone-deep aches off and on. While I had made significant improvement, Dr. Wang had me on NAD therapy and I thought I'd try Ozone too. My energy level, breathing and mental outlook is same or better than before COVID. I have been seeing Dr. Shirley Wang for several years now and she has helped me tremendously. I can't put into words how she has helped alter my life for the better. She introduced me to amazing peptides that have helped heal and enhance my body as well as KIV therapy and much much more in between. Let me start by saying... I don't like doctors, most are so self-deluded and arrogant which pretty much defeats the purpose of them ever become medical practitioners. The Hippocratic oath is nothing more than a hurdle to get their diploma. Dr. Wang on the other-hand is the epitome of what a medical practitioner should be. I have never met her, not yet. I contacted her on Yelp and she took the initiative to contact me on a Friday night. She asked questions that were actually relevant the situation and added insight. She did not treat me like a template and try to prescribe me anything, but instead, is aligned with my needs of addressing the source of the problem. Covering the symptoms is not a sustainable solution and Dr. Wang is well aware of that. Unlike most doctors, she is willing to learn and grow. Medicine and healthcare as a whole are always changing, why should doctors be the only ridged thing in it? The static nature most doctors have is what is hurting the medical industry and why the majority of patients don't trust their doctor. I've been to several doctors over my life... I met Dr. Shirley L. Wang for the first time during the holidays this year when I became extremely ill with the flu.  I expected to get rushed in & rushed out, as with most doctors however this was not the case at all!  When she walked in the room her whole demeanor exhibited total care and concern.  I suddenly felt as if I was the only patient in the building and had her total attention.   After letting me go on & on about how I felt, listening patiently, she offered some wonderful advice on how to use some pulse points in my face and feet to soothe the nerves and pain I was feeling.  We then went on to discuss various medications I could take to expedite my path to wellness.  Her knowledge of the different antibiotics and other medications let me know I was in great hands to follow her direction. I was actually planning on finding a new Primary Care doctor in 2018 and what a coincidence finding that doctor over the holidays! She is a fantastic Primary Care doctor for physical exams and holistic care so this will be my new spot for complete wellness and integrative medicine.
