Also, it's true they don't answer their phones - they have a messaging service and they will not call you back. You have to be physically in the office to get anything done.

The 2020 operation was supposed to be a simple matter involving the removal of a neuroma in my foot. It not only became infected but required five months for the less than one inch incision to heal. He prescribed an antibiotic, which was contraindicated with my other medications that he had been made aware of over the past many years. Halfway through watching the incisions, [He and his PA did not really treat the incision except for putting in two stitches, which were removed a week later because they hurt.], he sent me to the local hospital's wound care center where I was treated for about two-and one-half months by an excellent Podiatrist who did a great deal to effect healing. The Podiatrist also ordered a carton of medical supplies so that I could help with the process. After all of my prior surgeries with Dr. Kraushaar I was NOT charged for post-operative visits. This time he charged me my co-pay, which totaled $158.58, for the useless visits. I wrote two comprehensive letters delineating the reasons I thought that I should not pay. Both letters were ignored, and I was billed. Not only were the visits unsuccessful at healing me, but the surgery also did not work, I still have pain and a post-operative MRI showed that the neuroma was probably still there.

He said unless my pain was due to surgery or a broken bone he would not complete the Drs. Statement for Aflac. He said my primary Dr. should complete the form, which she did, but she stated that Dr Bhadra really should have completed the document. Aflac denied my coverage because the primary care doctor was not the "treating" doctor. So I received no reimbursement for missing work for 3 weeks. Not all of us can afford to miss work without some financial assistance. One other thing: I had a follow-up tele-visit with Dr. Bhadra. I waited an hour for him and finally hung up. He then called me. I will never go back there.

I have been going to Dr. Becker's office since March 2015 when he diagnosed me with RA. The man is…read moreoutstanding. His bedside manners should be commended. His office is very old school but then so is he. He takes the time to LISTEN to his patients. What has impressed me most about Dr. Becker is his memory. At first I thought he reviewed the charts prior to seeing his patients, but when I made an unexpected visit to his office and he was coming in from the outside, he asked me about my job and remembered everything I had told him. He even remembered how sick I was when I first went to his office! And his office staff, THE BEST! Barbara and Dorothy are so helpful and wonderful ladies and really go the extra mile for the patients. For whatever reason, Dr. Becker is now affiliated with Crystal Run. I have been trying to reach him directly and I know he returns phone calls... I'm still waiting. The office staff answering the phones do not provide the same type of customer-friendliness that I have been accustomed too. This one person, William should NOT be answering phones or taking messages. He doesn't listen very well. He is probably the reason why I haven't heard from Dr. Becker yet. Although I did call back and left another message and still no call. My appointment in the new office is scheduled for November 23rd. Let's see what happens. I really do hope this merger is positive but so far I can see that the friendly personal experience is a thing of the past.
