I'm a sneakerhead, and Premier has been my first choice when it comes to procuring Nike SB Dunk sneakers. They have always been consistent and fair when they release a new sneaker, and although some versions of the SB Dunk sell out almost immediately, I've been able to get my hands on a pair or two. Once I've purchased a shoe from Premier, depending on the time of day, that purchase has shipped out on the same day and arrives at my doorstep in a couple of business days. My most recent purchase was the SB Dunk Low Pro Aluminum. I bought these shoes on their website on the afternoon of 2/4/25 and, as I write this, they have arrived at my home the morning of 2/7/25. That is quite the speedy turnaround. If you seek skate gear and clothing with fast and friendly service, check out Premier. I was greeted when I walked in and a salesperson stopped by as I was looking around to ask if I was finding things okay. They have a pretty large selection of women's shoes as well as lots of sale shoes towards the back. You can also find accessories like socks and purses as well as knickknack type toys, etc. towards the front checkout. I was able to find the shoes I wanted fairly quickly, but they were a little limited in my size (6-6.5). I think you can have them order different sizes and get them shipped to you. They have a rewards program where you can earn points. The shoes I went with were cheaper at DSW than on Amazon. Overall I like DSW and think they have a good selection of different styles. It's nice to be able to try stuff on in person, especially shoes. Parking in this area is a bit of a nightmare as the parking lot is always crowded and it's not laid out very well.

This is a bigger DSW with a great selection for women, less so for men, and with the usual weak range of sizes on location. They must use some sort of odd formula that dates back to a thinner, shorter America raised on hard little baby shoes. They have no men's 10E at all, which is not that unusual a size. I know DSW carries this size because online I can easily find it. The brick and mortar stores are useful to come in and see the shoes, but if you have a wide, narrow, small or large size you're not going to go home with a pair of shoes from here. Since this is Western Michigan where there seems to be some sort of heavily enforced law that all salespeople be nice, the salespeople here are nice.

Customer service. I was asked three times by the same person if they could help me while shopping…read moretoday. I said no thank you. I'm just looking. I ended up finding a couple of pairs of shoes, and I wanted to also purchase some footies but the style I wanted were on a row too high for me to reach. I approached the employee who was standing behind the counter at the register near me, and who had previously offered to help me. I asked her if she could help me get the socks from the top row down and she mumbled, "sure I'll have to jump but I can try." I told her there was no reason to jump that I could have done that but I pointed to a ladder on wheels a few feet away and said I thought you could use that. There was a young man stocking but he wasn't using it at that moment. She got up on the ladder and I had to repeat myself a couple of times as I told her the ones that I wanted to see. She got the socks, pushed the ladder back to the other employee and mumbled something under her breath as she went back to the register. While I was trying to decide if I wanted the socks she asked me if I wanted already and did I just want the shoes. I tossed the socks on the counter away from my shoes, and said "I guess so. I wanted to see some other socks but I guess that's not an option" my sarcasm was lost on her. She said, "so just the shoes?" And she started to ring me up, but I was so put off by her attitude that I said, "never mind. I'll buy these on line instead." She stood there acting surprised and not understanding what had just happened. She was rude and I'm not going to spend my money in a store where someone is making smart Alec comments to me and mumbling under their breath as they walk past me. I was one of maybe three people in the store and it was about 30 minutes after they had opened so it wasn't a situation where she had been working all day and was tired. I've been there before and that same employee was behind the register making wise cracks. I can ignore that sometimes but not today. Someone else can have my business and my money. I love Skechers and will continue to buy them but not from this shop.

Currently, it hosts several clothing and accessory shops as well as a shoe store, floral design area, an ice cream shop (with amazing homemade cones!), and a soap & candle type shop. Because of its nature, shops rotate in and out so make sure you check in often to see whats here. On my most recent trip, I checked out Blu- Goodwill ' s fashionable new and used women's clothing shop for some great deals. I also explored the soap and candle shop for yummy smells. They have one particular candle called 'the queen of farts' that had me cracking up! Don't worry- it did smell good!

From working with races across the state to partnering with local run clubs, Gazelle has made a name for themselves as the store that cares. They carry all the name brands you want: from Lulu to Vuori to Hoka and beyond. Prices are higher but Gazelle stands by their products and have a generous return policy! I have bought running shoes, tested them at job and exchanged them with ease. Gazelle has multiple locations across the state, but if you are in the west Michigan area, I recommend going to the 28 location because their selection will be wider than the DT spot.
