As I was searching for shoes for my son, I grouped a few boxes together to decide which ones to buy. Holding my one year old and searching I went to look down the aisle only to come back and notice the shoes were put away. I then find the pairs of shoes again and am searching. The worker then puts them back again. I asked the lady that worked there with the black hair where they went, and with blunt rudeness says she needs them away. I told her I was putting them back but also need to decide which ones I should purchase. She rushed me, gave me attitude, and insinuated that she did not like how I had the boxes and where they were located even though I had them in a different spot from the time before. It was as if she was irritated, and if I did it again, she would purposely continue to put away my options I had out. Having a one year old on my hip and searching for shoes is hard enough. She made the task of shoe shopping extremely difficult. She was dismissive with a lot of attitude and not supportive at all. I wish I did not purchase shoes from Shoe Carnival. Went there today and had asked a lady employee if they had a certain size and she replied no it's a day before school starts what do you expect! She was very rude and shouldn't be working with the public. Then my son put the shies back on the shelf and she grabbed it from him and said it doesn't go there and was very c rude to him too.( he is only 9); Last thing she was stocking the aisle we were in and practically was running us over while she stocked. After about 40 min of looking for crocs we bought three pair my son came back after doing other shopping to buy a fourth pair sill the same treatment. I have had very good experiences buying shoes here. Earlier this year I purchased comfortable shoes for walking, but one of the shoes started to develop a hole in it after only a couple of months. When I took the shoes back, they let me trade them in for another pair of shoes at no extra cost, even though it was a little past the 60-day cutoff for returning them! read more

Honestly went there to do the sale they had on air max's and the sale wasn't even goin on like it said it was, so I had an issue there. Then I was shopping and struggling to find these shoes and saw all of the workers stand upfront talking amongst themselves so I go up to one of them and say can you help me find these shoes and she said no I have to stand here. And goes back to talking to the other three girls upfront... I was so pissed so I keep looking and find the shoe, I bring it up to her and ask for a size 9 and they are like oh yeah we donot have that. And I said okay well what can I do? And they were like you can order it online. I was so beyond unhappy here, I went a 3 in the afternoon so it wasn't a weird time of the day. I decided to get several pairs of new shoes and went to the Shoe Carnival as I had gift cards. After selecting my shoes I presented the gift cards at checkout. Evidentially the cards were older than I thought as they were inactive. However, the store manager went out of his way to have the cards reactivated. I went it to buy a pair of gym shoes, most of the shoes they have in stock do not qualify for their sale of the buy one get one half off. Once i chose a pair of shoes, i brought it to the register where Kyle, the asst manager was helping me. After he gave me the total i asked what the price of the shoes were. The price didnt match the sign. After some lady tried to prove me wrong, i walked back there to show her myself. She didnt get what i was trying to say after multiple times. Im an honest person and just wamted to share that the shoe above the sign was the one i had at the register. But the sign was for a different shoe apparently. She didnt understand that the shoe was in the wrong spot or the sign was completely wrong. She just made herself look as stupid. I left without purchasing anything from this joke of a store.
