This was not a minor issue -- it was a dangerous, life-threatening failure directly tied to the unit they serviced. We were notified of the incident on Monday and I contacted the company that same day and was told we would hear back. By Tuesday morning, there had been no follow-up, so we physically went to the business to speak with the owner. The response was dismissive. We were told he hadn't spoken with his business partner yet and that "they had trucks and pallets to unload" -- apparently a heater exploding in an occupied home is not a top priority. We even offered to have them come out and inspect the heater themselves, and they declined and wanted nothing to do with it. When we calmly asked that they contact their insurance company to begin the claims process, we were told it "wasn't their problem" and were hung up on. You would think hiring a licensed contractor would prevent something like this, but clearly that was not the case. Instead of urgency, accountability, or concern for safety, we were met with excuses and disregard. I will be pursuing this matter further. If this is how they handle a life-threatening failure directly tied to their own work, that should be a serious red flag for anyone else considering utilizing their services.

When I walked through the door I had no idea what to expect. When I entered I was given a friendly welcome and found a humble yet quaint set up. The selection was great considering the limited amount of space with which to display merchandise. Being an Irish girl, I am always on the lookout for Irish/Celtic pieces and was pleasantly surprised at the selection they carry. While there I was discussing with John a sentimental item I had and wanted turned into a wearable memento. He told me to bring it in and he would look at it and see what he could do. I brought it in on a Friday afternoon, we discussed what I wanted done and he was pretty sure he could do it. The only problem was that I was leaving town on Tuesday morning and he felt he was too busy to get it done before I left. As much as I didn't want to leave it behind, I left my trust in him and gave him my mothers number so she could pick it up upon completion and mail it to me. To my great surprise, the phone rang on Saturday morning and it was John telling me that my piece was finished. He said my sentimental story behind the item pulled at his heart strings and he wanted to make sure I had it back before leaving town. When I saw my completed piece, my heart swelled with the love this item held for me. John had done an amazing job. My piece was not only wearable, but fashionable. He then took the time to make one final change I requested while I waited. The price was very reasonable, and even though he did a rush job, he didn't charge me extra. I couldn't have been happier with the service I received here. With the kind of service John has to offer, I hope he finds success in this sleepy little town and stays for a long time to come. He's Bill Pullman's (the actor!) brother and they're from the town over, i.e. Hornell. My purchases? A candle that really smells like sticky buns, and a charm for just $2.90. Terrible service and even worse customer service. I started service the 2nd week in April. They…read morepicked up the first week and did not pick up the following week. They gave me a credit for the week and said it was a new driver. Then I got a bill in May for June 1 - July 31. I had to call and ask for the April bill to be prorated, since I didn't have service the full month of April. They gave me another weekly credit. The last week in April, the did not pick up again. When I called to cancel, both ladies were extremely rude. I was told again, it was a new driver. They said I had a balance due. I do not. That bill is for June and July, which I will not be a customer. They refused to give a refund and said they only do credits. Even though they did not provide the service for two of the weeks I paid for. They offered me a month credit. I said fine, but then cancel me after that. She refused to do a month credit if I'm going to cancel service. I told her they owed me two weeks of garbage pick up. She said no they did not. She said she would cancel me immediately and hung up on me. When I called back, I had to ask four times when the rest of the garbage and toter would be picked up. She said Friday. The normal pick up day. And hung up on me again. So extremely rude. They still owe me two weeks of service. I never did receive a recycling bin either. One time I was told I could come pick it up. They are almost an hour away from me. No, thank you. And about two weeks ago, I was told they just got some in and would be delivering "soon." I'll be contacting the better business bureau as well. Instead of trying to resolve the problem and take ownership, they were just rude and argumentative. Also, three times, we've seen the guys IN the truck jumping on trash while the trash compactor sounded like it was running. I did notify them of this, as well. Someone is going to lose a leg. Or worse.

However, when I called lippincotts rubbish, they told me that he had only paid $300 of the $750, if I wanted it picked up, I had to pay the balance. So I did, and I was told I was on the pick up list for Monday or Tuesday. NOTHING! I called again on Wednesday, was told Thursday or Friday NOTHING! I called again on Monday and was told that the "manager" said TODAY or Tuesday - NOTHING! I called AGAIN on Wednesday and was told Thursday or Friday. Finally picked it up on Thursday - 5 WEEKS LATER!!! Please do your self a huge favor - DO NOT WASTE YOUR Money OR TIME WITH SUCH AN UNRELIABLE, UNREASONABLE, COMPANY

When the delivery people came, they didn't wipe their feet or wear booties like every other delivery people have. I was scrubbing mud off of my white chair while they were bringing in the other items. They saw me and said nothing. As they were carrying the base of the bed upstairs, they smashed a chunk of the edge of an archway going upstairs. They were bringing it back to the truck and decided to try again. I later found out how they did it. I noticed part of the cloth was hanging down from the base and one of the boards that frame the entire thing, was split into two. There was also mud on my mattress that I had to clean. They were sloppy and reckless and had no regard for the situation. I also had to clean mud off of my walls and other things in my house. I didn't realize the extent of the damage right away so nothing could be done. Customer service is minimal at best. If you are looking for good service in any way, this is not the place to go.
