I reached out to NB Corporate and a week later I heard from a person who is the actual manager, Deanna. She emailed me with an apology and asked me to come to the store to exchange the damaged shoes. I did just that today and was shocked to find out it was not she who turned me away assuming the shoe damage was my doing. Deanna was genuine, and sincerely sorry for the misunderstanding and not optimal customer service from her employee. My damaged shoes were exchanged. So, kudos to Deanna, and to New Balance for doing the right thing. Thank you.

This visit was not pleasant, nor relaxing...I felt hounded at every turn...the lady kept asking me if I needed help, a dressing room, and commented on virtually everything I looked at or touched. Not sure of the reasoning, but it seemed like I was the only one getting such special attention! It got to be annoying, so I put the two items back that I was definitely going to purchase and decided to try the store at friendly center, or maybe just purchase it online. A word of advice: if you ask someone if they need help twice, and they say no, the third and fourth times are excessive!

If they do not have the merchandise in stock they always pull it up on their computers and offer to order it for you. If the ordered item does not fit they will exchange it without a problem and will try to find the proper fit or style for you. They have a ton of different styles of Birkenstocks and I ended up with this brown pair with gold buckles. The customer service was really good. They were happy to help us pick our size & let us try on a ton of shoes. They also have a decent selection of danskio, Tom's, Vionic, brooks, and other brands. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because it seemed like most of the shoes we picked up, they didn't have our size in stock which was disappointing. I also wish they had more Tom's shoes, specifically the wedges because they mostly had flats. Either way, it's a great store to have in the area! They're also open until 8 which is a plus.

American Eagle always has the best staff! I had the nicest experience here the other day. I walked…read moreup TWENTY minutes (seriously, 20) minutes after they closed to grab my pickup order. They noticed me kind of looking confused outside their door and politely asked if they could help. I explained that I just needed to grab a pickup order. The staff on duty so nicely checked my ID and bought my item to me. They really could have looked away when they saw me outside, and it was well within their rights to do so because they were closed for almost 30 minutes at that point. However, they chose to go above and beyond and reminded me why I will always be a loyal customer. Huge thanks to the store members on staff that night!!

If you're half dressed in the dressing room and need a different size, they'll go get it, and with a smile.
