My reason for the 4 stars is... it just would be nice if the staff would offer a quick little safety reminder of Tips to people. Even start just some basic guidelines on the rules of the facility, not necessarily how to shoot a gun, but how to be safe in the space; that way, you don't have to be spoken to, but more importantly, it would be a nice addition just to feel more comfortable. Finally, the gentleman who checked us in was attentive, knowledgeable, and a delight. I would definitely do this more when I have guest come from out of town who have never had this experience.

That experience led me to consider purchasing a firearm for home protection. I had visited other gun shops before and even spent time at the range, intending to buy a gun -- but every time it came down to making the purchase, I felt unsure and honestly a little scared. The truth was, I simply didn't have enough knowledge or confidence to feel comfortable having a firearm in my house. That's exactly why I signed up for this class -- and it was absolutely the right decision. Matt and Dan were incredibly friendly, approachable, and fun to be around. They created an environment that felt welcoming and judgment-free, which was especially important for someone like me who had some anxiety going in. The classroom portion was extremely informative and covered so many foundational things I didn't fully understand before -- safety, handling, mindset, and practical knowledge that truly builds confidence. We ended the class by going to the range and practicing with a handgun, applying the skills we had just learned. Matt and Dan were with us the entire time -- closely supervising, ensuring safety, and offering hands-on guidance. I never felt alone or unsure. They were attentive and genuinely invested in making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. While I still plan to visit the range a few more times to continue building confidence, I now feel significantly more prepared and educated than I did before taking this course. WARNING to all veterans and buyers considering Haley Strategic Partners…read more For over a month, I have been fighting Haley Strategic Partners to get a refund for a significant purchase that has been "stuck in transit" since early March. Instead of honoring its responsibility as the seller, HSP Customer Service has repeatedly hidden behind the carrier's slow claim process, refusing a refund until the package is returned or the claim is acknowledged. The hypocrisy is staggering: after a month and a half of fighting with them they offered to reship a replacement (acknowledging their liability for the loss), but refuse to refund the exact same amount of money for the original purchase. Haley Strategic Partners markets heavily to veterans and first responders, yet this is how they treat their core customer base. A company that claims its principles are "forged around the warriors we serve" and offers MIL/LE discounts is actively choosing to place the entire financial burden of a shipping failure on the customer. This demonstrates a complete lack of integrity and respect for the people who buy their "premium gear." My patience is exhausted. Since HSP explicitly stated they "will not be issuing a refund... at this time," I have initiated a full chargeback with my bank for non-receipt of goods and am filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and state consumer protection authorities. Don't waste your time or hundreds of dollars on a company that will abandon you when their system fails. Haley Strategic Partners lost a customer for life.

These two back-to-back same-day classes offered individualized hands-on training that took me and my fellow students, at a comfortable pace, from the basics of firearm use through to having us drawing a firearm from a concealed carry position within 1.5 seconds, and accurately firing on our intended target!
