I was shaken and didn't think to call the police or take photos at the time, but I did report it to the store right away. They told me their insurance representative would contact me within 24 hours. She didn't call until late Friday, when I couldn't talk, and when I finally spoke to her Monday morning, I explained everything and told her I'd gone to Urgent Care. I called her three times trying to get a claim number and insurance information, and when she finally called back, she said Stop & Shop wasn't liable and that I had to go through my own insurance. She also mentioned that it would take 2-3 weeks to review the video footage. It's really disappointing how this was handled. I expected more care and concern from a company like Stop & Shop. Accidents happen, but the lack of communication and empathy made the situation worse. I hope they take customer safety and follow-up more seriously in the future. Posting this to inform others -- if you ever experience a slip and fall, make sure to take photos, get witness names, and document everything right away.

There are even hens that pastel coloured eggs ( I used to raise those at my parents farm). Brown eggs just cost more because the hens that lay them are larger and eat more feed, not because they are somehow superior.
