She didn't call until late Friday, when I couldn't talk, and when I finally spoke to her Monday morning, I explained everything and told her I'd gone to Urgent Care. I called her three times trying to get a claim number and insurance information, and when she finally called back, she said Stop & Shop wasn't liable and that I had to go through my own insurance. She also mentioned that it would take 2-3 weeks to review the video footage. It's really disappointing how this was handled. I expected more care and concern from a company like Stop & Shop. Accidents happen, but the lack of communication and empathy made the situation worse. I hope they take customer safety and follow-up more seriously in the future. There are even hens that pastel coloured eggs ( I used to raise those at my parents farm). Brown eggs just cost more because the hens that lay them are larger and eat more feed, not because they are somehow superior.
