It was a Saturday and many of the local places were out of power, so it was busy. Their prices for items were comparable to other gas station mini-marts, and within a couple of minutes I was on my way. The staff weren't the friendliest, though to be honest the same could be said for some of the customers.

It's your typical, run-of-the-mill, lower-than-average Mobil station. Prices at this place seem to…read morebe higher than other gas stations, usually by 5-10 cents/gallon. I go here because it's close to work, and because I can use my SpeedPass. I try not to go inside -- it seems a little grungy, at least compared to other MobilMarts in the area. If I'm out of cash I might go in to get a drink, but it's that's about it. They DO have a car wash, which I've used a few times. I think you get a discount on gas if you decide to wash your vehicle. It's conveniently located, the pumps are well-lit, and it's open 24 hours.

I stopped here in a hurry, to fuel up before continuing on to my destination. I swiped my credit card, selected 93 octane, and when the pump said to "Begin Fueling," I tried to do just that. Problem: Nothing happened. So after messing around with it for a moment, I went inside to ask what the deal was, and a Comic Book Guy sort of dude working behind the counter was in no rush to even acknowledge my presence. He had an iPod, but the earbuds weren't even in his ears. Yeah, I'm sure you didn't notice me standing there, bud... Finally, he acknowledged me, and came off in a pretty condescending way. Listen, bro, I imagine I probably wouldn't be the happiest and most enthusiastic person working the overnight shift at a gas station, but take it easy. He explained to me that he was "really low" on 93 octane. OK, what about the others? Well, he wasn't sure, but he said my best bet was to try 89. ...sigh. Fine. So I go outside, select 89, and start pumping... it goes incredibly slowly, and stops at $0.98. At this point, I said screw it, and drove further along to get gas somewhere else.

This is one of the cheapest gas stations in our area, and as a result, it also has the longest line…read moreout of any gas stations in the area. It also shows up as a wholesale club rather than as a gas station on credit cards, generally lowering the cash back. The tap and and pay payment feature on the pumps doesn't work, and pumps are frequently out of service. Overall, the lower price makes up for it. One thing I've heard is that busier gas stations get refilled more often, so the sediment never has time to settle, and the gas is not as clean. I don't know if that's accurate or not, but I haven't had any issues here.

The entrance from Central Avenue is curved for coming in traveling west, if you are going east, turn onto Delafield Dr. just beyond for access. There is a small convenience mart here as well.
