I recently switched to Humana Vision Plus and found Robeson Family Vision Center to be one of their…read more"Plus" providers. I provided my insurance information to the lady who booked the appointment. A few days later, I received a call and they said that my number didn't work. I provided the number and asked her not to use the zero's that were listed. She said all was good. Again today, I received a call saying that the information wasn't saved and that my number shows to be invalid. I gave the number again and she said it was good now. Two hours later, another person called to say that they needed my major medical insurance number just in case I needed more than the basic eye exam that I requested. I don't have a major medical insurance provider and she said she didn't know whether my Vision Plus plan would cover what the doctor may want to do. I plan to report the conversation to Humana as well. I think it sounds fishy.

I have a medical condition, Optic Disc Drusen, that requires monitoring. Before moving to Winona, I had ophthalmologists perform that monitoring, but Dr. Robeson, although licensed as an optometrist, is fully capable of performing the work. His office has an impressive array of diagnostic equipment that includes visual fields, retinal cameras, and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Dr. Robeson and his staff used all of them to quickly and accurately assess the current state of my vision, and then Dr. Robeson reviewed the results with me. He fully understands my Optic Disc Drusen, and I enjoy discussing with him the progression of that disease. Excellent professional service in a friendly and comfortable setting. I highly recommend them.

Sadly now it is a place that has no direction anymore and management is non existent that's for sure. I took up a part time job with the mall and the things I found out were no shocking but were at the same time. Bad financial choices over and over again from what I could gather from but at what point do you learn... apparently there old manager spent 8 grand on candy for an event and had to give all of it away. Like what are we doing really. Anyways don't expect the bathrooms to improve or anything because there is no budget or whoever makes the big decisions won't out the funding into it anymore but then why not be done all together right? Just had to share my insight and the hard truth. Hope to see the mall make strides foreword to improve but hopes are low.

I am usually a very private person, but this needs to be shared. Here is my post: I was having second thoughts of going again this year, (Easter Egg Hunt Event) because last year was a disaster! I mean, they did take our feedback which was nice, but still, a kid went missing, the cops were called, there were no eggs for mine and my friends kids. There was no separation of ages, NO ONE was watching the kids in the bouncy house, it was so unorganized, two of my girlfriend's kids got hurt. Kids knocking over other kids, It was horrible. I honestly had no idea who was running this shit show. All these factors weighed on my decision. HOWEVER, now I was told who the dj that will be there....For a business that says they are all about the La Crosse community and love our city, is picking a guy who has done nothing but vandilze and puke on our city. It's a disgrace, even outside the mall! So I really don't think we are attending and lot of other parents feel the same way. Good luck with your event, so heads up to valley view mall I know your trying to get this back to it's life like in the 80s and 90s.

(Steven Wright) If you're hunting for quality sportsmen gear, this is the best spot locally to tackle your tackle list. That's no fish tale! THE LURE: The store is close to Bay Point Park boat launch, making it a convenient stop for fishing gear or licenses before you head out on the Mississippi River. THE LINE: Four Seasons carries solid inventory on fishing, archery, and hunting equipment. For the lady aiming for fishing boat chic, there's a pink sweatshirt with your name on it! There's even a pink tackle box for the matchy matchy look, but women's sunglasses would be a great add so one doesn't have to buy a manly pair in a pinch. THE CAST: Employees won't ambush you with pressure sales tactics or stalk you like prey, but they are enthusiastic to help if you look confused when your father sends you in for products you can't find. They are also fantastic with questions about the river, nearby lakes, and where fish are biting. I give this store 4.3 jigs for their excellent customer service and inventory! Now go catch yourself a lunker!

Upon walking in, the place is clean, well run, the staff is courteous and polite. Online appointments were easy to make. I thought the screening and the exam were good. I give the staff an A in that regard. Upon leaving the exam I needed a new pair of glasses. So I went to pick out 2 pairs of glasses. I was asked if I needed help, I didnt. I picked my frames out, and went over to pay the bill. The exam was free, the frames were actually buy one, get one half off. Where you pay the extra is the contact lenses and the lenses for the eyeglasses. I picked the cheapest lenses, and a 6 month supply of contacts. My total bill was about $375. I did add an extra $15 for a specific eye test. They did add a $100 to become a 3 yr member, I go when I have to so that was an unneeded expense. So take the $115 off the 375 and I was at $260 for the exam, 2 pairs of glasses, and a 6 month supply of contacts. That isn't too bad. The moral of the story. ..don't walk in thinking you are going to pay $69.99 for 2 pairs of glasses and walk out. I also would have liked a little better explanation of the bill before I paid it. I most likely would have not bought the 3 yr plan and I'm not even sure what I even get with it. Overall a positive experience.
