Post Office and Beauty Boutique services here. Shoppers has recently merged with PC Superstore points program = PC Optimum. What I like about this program is you can redeem your points at either chain and you can set up a family account to share points.

I have a medication that I take for MS, and I had them transfer it over from the Kingsway store (where my service has ALWAYS been top notch, for over 10 years). First, they ordered the boxes with the wrong dosages, which left me short. So I had to have them add a note to my file. Then I continually had people calling me and asking to refill when it wasn't time, and they were confused about the note. This last time, I did the phone reorder, and once again, there was a cockup. Something about the system and the weather... I don't know. I told the pharmacist I'd be changing the prescription to the Callingwood store, which I discovered after my move is even closer. The manager even called me to apologize, and said "we do have your order," but it turns out that once again, they had the wrong dosage. The call was nice, but having an average correct order of 2 out of 4 times is completely unacceptable. I didn't need that much of a reason to switch, but this just gave me the impetus to do it. It cannot be this difficult to get a medication order and dosage correct.

They offer coffee, tea, and water, there's a closet for your jacket in the waiting area. The area is never half full with plenty of seats and magazines on the table while you're waiting. When I went for my last eye exam, I didn't need to wait long for the pre-exam scans. I had to wait a few minutes in the other waiting area for the Doctor but there are lots of magazines to keep me entertained. The Doctor is friendly and personable and I don't feel rushed if I have questions to ask him about my eyes and products. He will show me my scan and let me know how it looks. He walks me out to the front where I pay for my exam. They direct bill to Blue Cross which is convenient. I haven't bought glasses here and I'm not sure how the prices compare to other places but they were busy when I was there and no one was available to show me frames right away. They have a sale now that's second frame free with a purchase of a full pair until the end of the year so I have time if I decide I want to buy glasses here.

All I can say is WOW!! I entered the store and was greeted by Freshta, asking "Hi, how are you today?" "Not good" I answered. This almost black hair, was not supposed to look like this, I said... Freshta has, hands down, the best customer service of anyone anywhere, in any industry, that I have experienced in probably, the past 5 years. Not only was she beyond helpful, she was exceptionally patient with me, she didn't try to oversell me on anything, she suggested DIY solutions and, she followed up, texting me to make sure that every thing worked out ok. Freshta is the type of employee that every employer would kill to have an entire crew of, and one that shoppers can appreciate as she is not pushy or rushed, not rude or short. She is knowledgeable and kind. She explained things on a level that my own salon has never explained - and I pay them really good money. She wasn't condescending like many of today's younger sales staff. She was truly a gem, in my "hour of need". I will go back, probably long before I head back to the over priced salon. I managed to remove the colour from my hair, recolour it to what I had originally expected it to be and, I was under $50. I recall having this done over 10 yrs ago at a salon in Oakville and I was over $300.00. Oh - and i forgot to mention, she totally nailed the new/old colour with no pics to reference. So Amazing. Thank you Freshta for making a really bad day so much better!

Sept 1, 2026 at approximately 1PM when visiting Sally Beauty the experience was bad. The employee was rude to the woman ahead of me, to me, and to the woman after me. Looking away, sighing heavily, asking in a put upon voice what I wanted.......I usually say nothing and either leave the store or suffer through it. Today it was so bad I DID tell the woman that she was being rude. Being even more rude she said, in a rude and elevated tone...........what do you expect????....you asked me 5 questions in a row. At that point I did not want to be served by this woman. I said...thank you and turned to leave. Sighing AGAIN the woman asked, flatly.....what are you looking for? I did tell her. She could not help me. I said I would walk around the store and see if I could find something. I did not, though. I left. I do not accept any excuse for this behavior. This woman is the face of Sally Beauty. It's not a good look!
