There is a nice huge flat screen TV, DVD player, WiFi, full kitchen (electric stove yuk) plates, pots, pans, silverware, and a wonderful view of the ocean from the balcony. There is a pool in the back and a nice short walk to the ocean. 2 full bathrooms and 2 queen size beds in each of the 2 bedrooms. Full washer and dryer in a laundry room with drying rack and a couple of chairs and coolers possibly from visitors past. After looking around and unpacking for a bit some other things start popping out at you. There is a big screen window in the master bedroom but no safety device to keep a child from falling through the screen, you don't get half the channels on the TV (No ESPN!) but nothing major until you notice the place is dirty. If I were the owner I would be pissed that I'm paying for a cleaning service and they are doing a crap job. The carpets were filthy, the couches need a professional steam cleaning (pretty gross). There was a dinner buffet for 3 in between the couch cushions. Pop tart wrappers behind the nightstand. Bugs and dirt in all corners of the house. I went to vacuum myself to clean the place and the vacuum was broken so I couldn't. We were getting by but when the coffee pot broke all hell broke loose. We complained to the realtor but they said that SINCE WE DID NOT CALL IN THE FIRST 24 HOURS THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR US. You don't expect to pay $2,000 for a room for the week and have to deal with this nonsense. If you do wind up renting in Ocean City, especially in this building, CALL RIGHT AWAY if your room is not up to par.

So far, the only response I have received is "we know about the windows" and the "socket cover/lightbulbs were replaced during your stay".If they are aware of the windows, it should be mentioned in the listing. It is very quiet with adequate parking. The beach is 200 feet from the back door and was never crowd. Gentle slope into the ocean and life guards gave us a feeling of safety. The private beach area in the backyard allows for private activities but also shared games with the neighbor kids. The pool was clean but not very big and some of the lounge chairs are broken. Shops, restaurants, and theme parks close by.
