Shore Point recently replaced our furnace. In the middle of January we found ourselves with no heat. We called to schedule an appointment and were received by Nicole. She was able to get us on their schedule that same day for a service call. The technician was on time and very knowledgeable. Shore Point Electric and Air Conditioning has been my service provided for more than 10 years. They installed the units when the house was remodeled and with their maintenance package have maintained both units. Recently we had to have a part replaced. Because of part shortages, they were forced to pick up the part outside their usual supplier. Their technician Ryan, drove an hour away and is currently installing the part. Out of the many companies providing service on LBI, I give Shore point the position of top of the list. read more

OMG!!!! I wouldn't use this company again if I was burning in hell.. I had lost the ability to cool my house in the hottest weekend of the summer 7/20. Started out great. Nicole was super friendly and was able to get me on the schedule for the next day. It went down hill slowly from there. The Tec called me from the house and informed me that I needed a simple part and that I would receive a call from Nicole when ordered. Late afternoon of the following day I still did not hear back so I called only to find out that Nicole still had not checked the paper work and didn't even know she had to order anything (1 day wasted). Part was ordered and received two days later but now of course I had to wait yet another day to get on the schedule (another day wasted). The following day I receive a call from Nicole informing me that she ordered the wrong part and it had to be reordered (day wasted). They don't work weekends so now I had to wait until the following Monday. I'm now over a week of dealing with a 95 degree house. Part arrives on Monday however I can't get scheduled until Tuesday (day wasted). Instead of making me a priority I was last on the list for the day and a beautiful day turned into a storm at 4pm and I had to be canceled (day wasted). Tec shows on Wed and changes part and informs me everything is working. 4 hours later I realize that the temp is still going up, now 96 degrees. I call Robby back who responds "oh yea, it's your fan. I noticed that". OMG!!! I call Nicole to make sure she knows to order the part. She tells me that she overnight it however can't schedule me until she has the part in hand (another day wasted). when I asked to put me on the schedule for the following day knowing that the part will be arriving she argues with me and told me too bad and hung up on me!!!! ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME!!!!! I was patient for two weeks dealing with the incompetence, lack of communication, and basically laziness and when I ask for a little priority I got yelled at and hung up on. Perfect customer service. This is what you get dealing with a small mom and pop shop unsupervised by the owners. read more
