It's hard for me to express just how great my experience was with Wire Wiz. I needed to replace an outdoor meter housing with 3 electrical meter sockets that had corroded from the salt air. The large meter housing mounts and breaker box have a wholesale cost of about $1,000 and it was a one day job. I received one quote from another company for $4,600 and Wire Wiz bid the job at $2,995, which seemed fair given that a permit from the town was needed to do the work. Wire Wiz did an excellent job and was able to let me know exactly when the electricity would be off and for how long. They installed the panel and even labeled each meter. I have a lot of contracting work done and can tell that it's a quality installation. On top of that, their friendly office manager was always available and used text messaging and online invoicing to keep me informed and allow me to settle the bill without mailing a check. We came back from vacation and I heard a humming in our home...did not sound right. I didn't know who to call when I saw a Wire Wiz truck riding on the road next to me. I gave them a call told them our situation and they were out the next day to make an assessment. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They couldn't believe we were running our home on such a low amp service and recommended we upgrade. They gave me an estimate that day and the price was on point so we agreed to have them upgrade the service in our home which included a new electrical panel and outside box with meter. I recently used Wire Wiz to replace the power packs for a 4 unit condo in North Wildwood. When I placed a call to schedule an appointment I was advised that a technician was in the area and could stop by that afternoon. The electrician and owner (Michael) arrived promptly that afternoon, reviewed the work and then provided me w/ a quote that same evening. Wire Wiz arrived not only arrived on-time, they did a tremendous job and resolved the dangerous electrical issue that we were confronted with. Christine was awesome coordinating things from the office. We had a key snafu at a rental property and she saved the day by allowing me to FedEx keys to her so I didn't have to drive a three hour round trip to get them down there. I called reporting a problem with intermittent blinking lights and Mike was out the same day clearly explaining what work he was recommending to be code compliant, and that there may also be a problem with the underground service. I was provided a quote and they returned the next day to install a new meter/ main combo. Mike was correct, there also was an issue with the service and his staff coordinated the installation of the new service.Dan was the electrician that was on site for the service change and finished up the final details. The Wire Wiz did a great job with the 3 times I used them and the work has always been high quality. They get the job done right the first time and no hidden cost or mess to clean. 5 Stars all the way....We had a pretty big job..the service entry cable and meter box was frayed and we also had some very old knob and tube wiring some of it intermixed with Romex. They gave a comprehensive estimate that itemized everything, answered every question we had. They were friendly, courteous and did a great job.
