TJ, the owner for this business is an absolute professional! He is very responsive and accessible. TJ recently replaced my heating unit at my rental property in Wildwood, NJ. I was not required to be at the unit during the entire install process from measurements, quote, installation and inspection. He provided a white gloves service and made it very convenient for me to get this important replacement done with minimal effort from my side. The hardest part of writing this review is finding the words to properly express the gratitude and professionalism I received from my first call ever to TJ and his company. I came down to my one bedroom with my son on a Thursday and Friday morning the thermostat read 76 even though it was set to 72. I must have called 15-20 different companies to see if I could get service and only DR Mechanical and one other company were able to come out. Both said I would need a new unit, however, the other, larger company was unsure of the make/model and configuration of my unit. Not only was TJ knowledgeable, but he was the only one willing and able to replace the following week, right before I had renters coming. He is responsive, considerate, and extremely fair on pricing. We cannot say enough praises about DR Mechanical. Besides being professional, prompt, and knowledgeable, this company is very honest. To give an example: Our heater was making loud noises and sounded like it was ready to be replaced. The technician came out WITHIN THE HOUR and checked it over thoroughly. Installing a new heating and air conditioning unit is stressful and expensive. So its very important to find someone that knows what they are doing. I am lucky to have picked DR mechanical. .:)) Believe me when I tell you that he is very passionate about what he does. He takes his time and is very meticulous. It took him days to install my heating unit. He would put the whole unit in and take it back out just to get a better visual. I had an appointment set up for someone to come to my house to give me an estimate between 6-7pm. I waited until 7:30 and called to see where he was. He told me oh they were busy, and could we reschedule tomorrow. No one even thought to call me. I waited around for an hour and a half for nothing. D.R. Mechanical is indeed a 5 Star service expert for heating and cooling systems. TJ was knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonably priced for what we needed. Our central air conditioning died during an August heatwave so I researched local HVAC professionals and contacted D.R. Mechanical on a Friday afternoon. TJ answered the call, and offered to come inspect our problem within an hour. Upon his inspection, he noted that our A/C was quite old, and would need to be replaced. I made him aware that we would be willing to have everything replaced as long as it would be reasonably priced and have to be done as soon as possible. Having had other estimates done, we had a figure in mind which we expected and after discussing the issues we had with TJ, we decided to accept his bid to do the work, and as promised, he and his crew arrived promptly, and performed all required work efficiently. Upon completion, TJ made certain to let us know when he would return to inspect how everything was working as well as offered to be here to turn on the new furnace in the fall. He was extremely helpful, and friendly and even put us in contact with an electrician who did additional work for us the day after D.R. Mechanical completed their work to further help us get our home in better condition. We will be glad to refer any friends or family in need of Heating or Cooling work to be performed on their home to TJ and his crew as we could not be any happier with the work they performed for us! read more
