It was quite humbling to witness the care with which Jason and his wife treated Dad's belongings. To them, it wasn't just an old house filled with a bunch of junk. It was over half-a-century of memories being given new life. While most of what they pulled out had to be taken to the dump, there was some material that could be salvaged and repurposed. That's something I know my father - who obviously could never throw anything away :-) - would certainly have appreciated.
