Meanwhile, the PA kept referring to a 6:02 westbound train, calling it delayed. That delay was permanent. Only by looking on Twitter did I learn the truth. Now that I'm actually at the station after my "rural" trip west I can understand way. The Hoboken train has been scheduled to leave in zero minutes for quite some time. The lobby itself is nice and fairly spacious but In more recent years it has become a safe haven for the homeless prompting the lobby to locked up after midnight. The warmth of the lobby is always welcome but there are back steps to access the platforms from the outside and even an elevator. The lobby windows hours are narrow being only 6am to 1pm so if you a special kind of ticket such as a bus pass you have to make it there during this time. It isn't open on weekends so if you work a regular job how are you supposed to get a ticket of this type? I know this is more of an NJ Transit issue but i think they should be more accomodating. Overall though its one of the better stations on this line and pretty well, kept up.
