My friend recommended Carrie for newborn family photography and after seeing her incredible pictures I reached out to Carrie who was able to schedule me within a few days while my baby boy was 2 weeks old. Carrie just upgraded to a bigger studio which was spacious, warm, beautifully decorated with props/costumes/backgrounds, cozy with a fun lounge containing TV/snacks/toys to entertain us all. I appreciate how thoughtful Carrie is from giving us detailed instructions on arriving (i.e. stairs to 2nd floor) and what to expect at her studio which made planning the day go so smoothly for our toddler and newborn. Carrie has been so great at working with young kids (i.e. working around distracting toys and changing/feeding baby), as well as making excellent pose suggestions to find our best angles (i.e. asking us if we wanted to remove watches or hold our kids a certain way). I had my first mini photo session with Carrie in December and I was very impressed with her and the quality of her images. Im also impressed with her professionalism and kindness towards me and my kids. I always wonder how patient a photographer is going to be with little ones who wont do exactly what you tell them and THEIR work is affected by it. But Carrie is genuinely engaging with kids and mine loved her! She managed to squeeze me in 12 hours after we initially spoke. She was willing to get up an hour earlier just for us! The session made for some amazing shots of my kiddos and I'm so grateful. As far as images, I like Carrie's taste with outdoor scenic settings and use of lighting. Her editing is done well without making the photos look fake. She is classy and real....her work reflects it. Turnover was a week and a half which I expected. Price for a mini session of 30 minutes was $150 which I think is fair. We'll be seeing her again next November.....and I'll make sure to give her more than a days notice! Promise!! read more

I had made an appointment with her based on my c-section date, but our baby decided to come out 3 weeks early and we needed to reschedule the session. I reached out to this photographer via email. She responded (a little delayed), but nevertheless was polite and gave me answers I was hoping to receive. When I attempted to reach out again, I sent 2 follow up emails. One of them, asking for information regarding her maternity/newborn package, and still have yet to receive a response. It's been 13 days. The lack of response in a timely manner has me questioning other aspects of her business. Such examples would include, if we do go through with her her services, that we'll be able to get our pictures on time, or if we have questions or concerns if we'll even hear back. Anyway, we decided on using a different photographer. It's too bad really, because we were genuinely wanting to use her services due to the affordability and liking very much the pictures she has on her portfolio. Best wishes to her, but I have too many doubts now as a potential customer. Hoping no one else had this experience, but I don't feel that I could recommend for other future customers. read more
