Everybody was very nice and helpful. Also as a solo woman I've had lots of bike shops treat me like an idiot/make me feel like I don't belong, and they made me feel super welcome, gave great ride recs, and even gave me tips for things to try with my personal bike back home. Seriously a highlight of my quick trip! Oh and the bike was awesome, and 80$ for full suspension for a day is even cheaper than the shops back home in OR.

They also have a sweet selection of bundled pre-cut fabrics, and lots of gift items and cute baby and toddler gear. The owner is a true gem, there to answer questions and help with fabric selection. This has always been a must-visit on my Winthrop trips, and it will continue to be for as long as I'm still sewing!

And some other cute shops I like it's size - not too big, not too small, Goldie locks approval for just the right fit

It is a nice place to take a quick break after the long drive south from more populated areas. Check their hours first, though, because you may not be as lucky as we were last visit.

What's not to like about supporting Native female-owned businesses? While we were in the store, she visited with my auntie and little sis, and suggested an alternative route back to Electric City that was really beautiful. She knows the local area really well, and if she doesn't stock something, she's really helpful about where you could go to find it. My aunt bought a nice southwest-style necklace here; my little sister bought some beads; I bought some stuff for making earrings. Great shop, good resource.
