We only discovered the issue a full year later when our mortgage company contacted us. Being left uninsured without any notice is unacceptable and could have had serious financial consequences. After decades of loyalty, I expected at the very least basic communication and oversight. Unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded our trust. I was met with an unexpected response; I was turned away and denied the opportunity to receive quotes as per my request in January. This experience was not in line with the high standard of customer service that I expect from any service company. As a result, I no longer wish to do business with them. I sought insurance services elsewhere. I did not want to wait for the 30-day mark that was explained to me by them, especially considering the difficulty of obtaining homeowners insurance in California. Such experiences can significantly impact a company's reputation and customer retention.
