I am ecstatic with my kitchen and bath remodeling projects that Showcase Design did for me. I needed new countertops, backsplash, sink/faucet, and lighting in my kitchen, plus a new glass shower in one bathroom and wallpaper removal and painting in another. From the minute I stepped into the Showcase Design showroom and was met by Cassie, I was treated as if I were their number-one priority, all the way to the finish. Cassie is the greatest as their frontline rep. She is pleasant, professional, and patient. Jill and Frank, the owners, are extremely knowledgeable with many years of experience, and both are a treasure to work with. Frank and his crew came out to the house and took measurements, and one of the best parts is that they showed up on time! This is often a rarity in the service industry these days, so I greatly appreciated that. All of the people on their team, including Jeff, who did the shower glass, Paul, the electrician, J.C., who did the backsplash, Ron, the painter, the countertop crew -- everyone -- were personable, very experienced, and a pleasure to work with. The countertops were installed in just one day, and the backsplash took only two. The wallpaper removal and painting took a while, as we were told it would, but otherwise the whole process was flawless. I love these people. One of the hallmarks of their business is the personal touch brought on by Jill, the owner, who practically lives on her email in order to give customers immediate feedback and answers. Nights, weekends, it did not matter. Jill treated me as if a red carpet had been rolled out, and she addressed every topic with cheerful helpfulness. Best of all was how thorough and patient she was, and I'm here to tell you that this counted for a lot since there were over 100 email exchanges on these projects! She's great. I'm one of those highly detailed ("picky") people who likes to have things be just right, and Showcase Design never missed a mark. I had started out getting a quote from another local company (I won't name names), but I received a cold reception as they constantly told me, almost as if bragging, about how they were too busy to help me, with no indication that I would ever be able to get on their schedule. All I wanted was an initial consultation and to get on their schedule for the future, no matter how far off. I felt I was being pretty lenient (I mean, how many of their customers walk in the door and say I'm not in any sort of rush?), given that I came in during the summer and was asking for a January start date. But because I was treated coldly, I looked elsewhere. How lucky I was to come upon the great reviews of Showcase Design of Apex! Everything in my baths and kitchen looks great -- from the frameless glass shower, the wallpaper removal and painting, the white glossy subway tile backsplash, the wonderful stainless sink and faucet, to the crowning glory, the Silestone Calacatta Gold quartz countertops -- just breathtaking. We had a partial kitchen renovation done by them and we cannot say enough good things! We had new quartz countertops, new backsplash and new sink/faucet placed and also had our split level island demoed to have one big island. From the first day they came to give us a quote they showed up on time and continued to be on time or EARLY. Everyone of the contractors, tile guys, plumbers, counter guys were friendly and detail oriented. Cannot recommend them enough. We love our new kitchen and will continue to use them for any future kitchen or bathroom work! read more

A five star review is insufficient to rate Showcase Design Kitchen and Bath. I would easily go for ten stars. Our kitchen was flooded from a broken toilet in the upstairs bathroom and the water spread to the downstairs kitchen, bathroom, sun room and living room. The floors were ruined. The company my husband hired to work on the floors were totally incompetent: they arrived late or did not arrive; they screwed up the baseboards, and the two workers each had a slightly different colors on their part of the kitchen. Moreover, before they finished the floor, they moved the quartz countertops onto the base cabinets and broke a fist-sized piece of quartz off one counter top, put some pieces on underlying plywood, but not the other pieces. Jose, the manager, wanted me to get the missing piece glued to the main quartz slab. I refused and asked him to correct it and not to send the floor people back. He basically ghosted us thereafter. However, after I called many times and left messages with no reply, he called Jill from Showcase Design and told her I wanted to talk to her. That was the last time I had any connection to Jose. Jill, however, took great pity on my lack of a kitchen and came to see the mess. Thank goodness! Showcase Design took care of everything! They undid the mess that was left and redid everything. The floors, the walls, the countertops---they were on time every day, cordial, capable, just excellent and their prices were super fair. I would recommend this company to anyone considering having work done on a kitchen or bathroom. They are just the best. read more

This place is horrible. I waited a week for an appointment. I arrived in the parking lot 5 minutes prior to appointment. I waited 10 minutes then called asking who was going to greet me. The person answered saying oh, I'll be out in a minute. Are you kidding me?!!!!!! Why were they not ready to meet me? After all, I am willing to spend thousands of dollars on a new kitchen. Arrogant and not customer friendly. There are many places to do this work. Don't waste your time. Beside,s covid 19 restrictions are over. Just open your shop. read more

We contacted Jill at Showcase Design....just to get an estimate of costs.... Cassie coordinated a no obligation site visit so that the nestimate could be completed. After some bit of discussion regarding what all we wanted.....and a wonderful visit to the store in Apex....we decided on a beautiful mat finish quartz countertop and a simple coordinating subway tile backsplash. Both installation teams were just perfect! We could not be more pleased with our completed kitchen upgrade. We simply love our new countertop! What impressed us even more....was the care we received even though our project was NOT a full kitchen remodel. Jill and her entire team treated us like we were as important and appreciated as someone undertaking a complete remodel. I have a background in kitchen and bath design so I know my way around in that regard and I also knew well what to expect. I had three different quotes and Showcase came in at budget which sort of scared me because they were even less than Lowes, and the process at Lowes was such a mess that I wasn't going to touch that even if they had come in on budget. Jill was great to work with and very amenable to what I was looking for. The project wasn't without hiccups but this is my field and I can tell you that there are always going to be hiccups and sick days and a wrong part that got ordered. It comes with the job so just accept it and move on. Also I'd like to mention that there were days I'd notice a thing or two wrong or a bit off but they were usually taken care of before I even had to ask Jill about it, she was very on top of things. The end result was fantastic, I couldn't be more happy with how my kitchen and bath came out. I don't believe for a minute that the other higher priced contractors I had looked into could have done a better job or paid more attention to detail. I am always remodeling! Working with Jill and Frank was a breeze. From start to finish, I had no worries. Jill communicated so often, and whenever I asked her a question or shared a concern, she got back with me that day or evening. Jill helped me with my selection and made some really good points when I just could not choose. Her friendliness and professionalism was appreciated. I love the quartz that I chose! She convinced me to keep my farm sink which goes so nicely. I kept my backsplash as well, and she agreed with me. She did not think I should spend more money, she talked me into spending less. Frank and George did an amazing job with the install. They were so quick, tidy, and clean. The plumber came in the next day to hook my sinks back up. I hardly missed a beat in using my kitchen. We visited this store not really knowing what we were looking for. We wanted to just look around to get an idea of our options. We were attacked immediately and told that she would go get a list of vendors and find a guy to take us out to see the slabs. What? All we wanted to do was look around. After multiple hints to just leave us alone she continually attempted to parade us around the show room. We were blunt and asked for a minute alone... Left immediately. Huge turn off. And many places in the triangle offer much better prices. read more

I had driven past Showcase Design Marble and Granite (SDMG) many times on my way to/from Fuquay-Varina so when we decided to undertake the next phase of finishing our home, we stopped in to see if they could help us with our granite counter job. First, I apologize for the long review. Early in 2011, we had custom maple cabinets made and installed in the great room as per our outstanding interior designer from Design Lines. However, we needed the finishing counter to top this cabinet. We knew what we wanted as we had seen it more than 10 years ago - a single section of Black Galaxy Granite with larger golden flakes which shimmer under the right light. The issue was finding a large 133+" piece and then one with larger flakes - all proved challenging as most of what we saw had very small flakes or was not large enough to make the counter in a single piece. The rub is most suppliers do not handle slabs that large anymore and second, I guess the slabs with larger flakes has all been mined or diverted to ultra high end options. After we consulted with SDMG, they recommended several granite suppliers in the area. We viewed a few slabs until we found the perfect piece. Once we alerted SDMG we found the slab, they took over and ensured the piece we tagged was delivered to their shop. After that, they handled everything perfectly from the initial measuring to fabrication to delivery and installation. The cut section, which was very large, fit perfectly and was polished and finished with a bull-nose edge to perfection. I could not have asked for a better job! Phase 2 of this project started in August of 2011. We decided it was time to replace the original counters in one bath with something we had seen many years ago - a rainforest green marble. So again, we reached out to SDMG and they made some calls. However, because these slabs vary so much in color and veins, it was difficult to discern from photos what was available and what was available was stored in Atlanta. As luck would have it, one day my partner took a wrong turn and stumbled onto a marble supplier we had not called and decided to stop in to view their stock. They were still recovering from tornado damage at the time and were about to close for the day, but they let her look around quickly and were helpful. To make a long story shorter, I receive an excited - "I found the slab!" call and photos followed shortly. Still we returned to view all the slabs of rainforest to be sure we had the right one as they had them stacked up that first day. Again, just like before, we called Jill at SDMG and informed her we found the rainforest slab and they leaped into action - calling the supplier and arranging for the slab to shipped to their production facilities pronto. The twist this time was not size but we wanted to use our uniquely curved / shaped Kohler sinks which we already had as drop ins in the existing counter. We removed the sinks and took them to SDMG so they could properly position and cut the unique shapes. These sinks were no longer made and were not replaceable, so I was a bit worried about leaving them but they assured me they would be taken good care of. After a few weeks, Jane called to schedule the installation. SDMG's installation team showed up early one morning, on time, ripped out the old counter, which was a challenge due to the adhesives I'd used originally :(, and then installed the new counter with the Kohler sinks. Everything fitted perfectly. The sinks were positioned properly. They were affixed under the counter properly. The hardware was aligned properly and we were able to reuse all of the original floating cantilever supports and cabinets I had made for the counter! Overall, I am extremely impressed with the quality of workmanship on the counters, their edges are finished perfectly and they handled the delicate rainforest marble without incident (it is more fragile than most) and they went beyond the call of duty to make our unique Kohler sinks fit perfectly. After it was installed, everyone agreed and understood why reusing the sinks was key to making this an eye popping but simple design. The white in the sinks just illuminates the white veins in the marble! Based on our counter experiences twice now, I highly recommend giving SDMG a play for your next project - you may be surprised at this gem tucked away on the road between Garner and Fuquay-Varina!
