This place was perfect ! This is a family owned business and this shop is managed by the son. The mom manages a shop in Winston Salem and the daughter does marketing I believe. Nice to visit a family run shop and support local! The guy was super knowledgeable and I was comfortable with buying skates ! I got the Moxi Lollys and they have been great! They are good with helping you find what works for your skill level, age, etc. It's a small spot but don't let that fool you! Definitely worth the stop!

Kate's Skate's Skating Rink in Indian Trail is by far my favorite. It starts with the ownership. Billy is great owner and a great guy. He invests in his rink and it shows. In the three years that I've lived in Charlotte, I've seen him install new flooring, carpet, lighting and more. I love that I can pay for admission and concession with CashApp which eliminates the worry of losing credit cards or cash. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and hardworking to keep everything going even on the busiest nights and events. Kate's has two adult night sessions Thursdays (8-11pm$ and Saturdays (7-11pm)with a rotation of great local and guest Djs. There is even a monthly 30 and older session for us "seasoned" rollers. Charlotte's skating community very lucky to have a rink owner like Billy that invests in the business and the skate community as a whole.

It flew into the woods and he teed up another ball and hit it with his driver. He left the head of the club in the woods but kept the shaft. I went back and got the head and asked did he want it, he said 'no', I don't want to fool with having it fixed. Since last summer, I've talked to several golf shops and pros at courses who do repair about getting it fixed. The conversation usually begins with: 'oh, I dunno, it might cost you a pretty penny'. I've not given up because I need a good 3 wood. Today, I called this shop and spoke to John. He asked some good questions and talked optimistically about the prospect of repair and replace with another shaft at a reasonable price. I took it in today and met with John who gave me a solid assessment and a reasonable estimate on repair PLUS a Senior discount! This is the kind of golf shop I'm willing to drive to from Fort Mill, SC. Great staff, 'can do' attitude and excellent customer service! Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

So, we are out $140 for what is now scrap cloth, and had to scramble to get him another gift in time for his birthday. We will not be making any more purchases from Fanatics.
