Instead, we're left with brand-new skis that my daughter can't use. Parents should be very cautious when buying kids' gear here--if it doesn't fit, even unused, you may be stuck with it. They used fun gadgets to get your fit just right, including an infrared shoe sizer to analyze your arch and precise tools to determine foot width. Rachel even analyzed my gait and took my intended running routine into account to recommend the best options. I ended up picking up a pair of ASICS for $124 and a Brooks running bra on clearance! Very reasonably priced for the quality. My only slight snag is the fit on the sneakers. We sized up a full size to accommodate my plantar fasciitis, but they feel a bit loose and I'm not entirely confident they'll stay secure on my feet while running.
