So I literally had an overflowing 13 gallon bag of mail, tax records, etc. For the longest it was rolling around in the back of my car. Anyone who knows me knows I love my car, so I had a short life for it. I knew I could shred at Staples, but the best advice I got there was to open the mail first and throw away anything without identifying info. I started that and quickly ran out of time. So, I looked online and found this place. I called, but they centralize their number listed online to a national call center. The young lady told me that they take walk in's from 8-2 M-F. One day about 1, I brought it in. It's in a suite in a building. It's right inside the door for the suite number, up a very short staircase. There is a buzzer on the door you hit, and wait. It requires patience. I heard a gang of folks talking inside, but the door popped open about 1min 30sec after I buzzed. Basically, you pay $40 base price (see my photos for price sheet). You fill out a form, sign the sheet, and you pay. There is a cash discount. I paid with card, and he called it in to process the payment. I received a receipt and off I went! He took the bag. If you want to see them shred it you have to make an appointment, and those are limited. I'm a Social Worker, so if they want to steal my info they won't get much. I appreciated this place. Could I save money taking it to Staples and shredding it myself? Sure. But the convenience was worth it.
