I first heard of this place through Facebook and I wasn't sure about it. It had no Yelp page but I…read moretried it anyway. It is in a multipurpose office building and as of the day I went, didn't have a sign outside of it. When you first walk in, you're greeted by a little lobby that has coat hangers and a little shoe rack. The pricing is 15$ for 1 hour, 5$ for every half hour on top of that. They do have membership packages as well. The space is nice and clean. It is a big room that has a baby area, an area for drawing, a space area, a kitchen area, a store, a tool area, a bounce castle with a slide, and some sitting spaces. It also has two party areas and a bathroom. While it's not a huge space, the toys it has are in good condition, the buttons all work on the little play stations. The bathroom is clean, it has a nice changing table and we enjoyed our time here. We stayed for an hour and a half and it was a good place to be on a cold day. I would bring my son back and may consider having his party there. Compared to other kids places, this is a little more expensive than I'm used to. Kids empire in Johnstown near Loveland is 20$ for the entire day and you can go back multiple times. If they put a sign out front, I think more would go as you don't really know it's there otherwise. It is nice to have a play place like this in Longmont now.

I think they have a daycare center with the outdoor play area which is nice. They have bike racks for your bike. Bus stop in the back next door to Main Street and a nice big town park. My son ran in before practice at the park next-door to use the restroom and the front desk said we had to pay so I had to pay for my son to use the restroom. I thought that was definitely upsetting considering the fact that were residence and long time customers. But all in all, they're great place to get a good workout and join the classes for the elderly and more

This week is LGBTQ Pride week, and I am NOT HAPPY with the Longmont fire hydrant situation…read more They are currently painted red and white, and I believe there should be designated rainbow-colored fire hydrants, for dogs with gender identity issues. I called Longmont Public Safety chief, Mike Butler, concerning this issue, and he wasn't helpful AT ALL. I told him my dog doesn't like to squat when she pees--she likes to lift her leg, and I needed to know that she is free to pee at the fire hydrant of her choice, without fear of discrimination. Mr. Butler said that as far as he knew, Longmont TREES were transgender, so what was the problem? Mr. Butler didn't give a rip about equal rights for dogs to use the fire hydrant of their choice, regardless of gender identity.

Our au pair also said she felt like they were very difficult. They talk very disrespectfully to us once they take our money and make it difficult to communicate with them. I have actually been hung up on and avoided for months. I am so glad I switched agencies. I realized what a big difference there was in professionalism! We love our new agency and I wish I knew this years ago.

Au Pair International is probably the worst agency out there. First, look at how they advertise or…read moremarket: They require a $650 fee just to apply (no other agency I checked with has an application fee more than $100), but on their website, they induce you to apply by saying the fee will be waived if you apply be the end of the month. Next month, and every month after that has the same "promotion". Our local coordination, Michelle Hom, is lazy and lies. She never bothered to check our house until after we paid and completed the agreement (the agency is supposed to check before in case your room does not qualify). She then comes to our house and start telling us bad things about Au Pairs, for example, they come here either to play with boys, learn English, or make money - nothing to do with enjoying taking care of children. Other Au Pairs told me that she plays the Au Pairs against the host family as well. They only care if you sign the contract and pay the money because once you pay the money, if you decide to cancel later, you are mostly SOL. No matter what complaints they have received of the Au Pairs, they do not care, but want to rematch them as quickly as possible because the data on the Au Pairs is reported to the State Dept as required by law. For example, if they have a high percentage of Au Pairs who have to return to their country before the end of their contract, it will raise concern among the State Dept. Ilka and Katrina are also complicit. Most of the Au Pairs they have are from South America (such as Argentina). My advice is to stay from these Au Pairs. They are rarely here to babysit or learn English. They come largely for one reasons - you can guess what it is. Our former Au Pair, Valentina, is like that.
